Re: ID isn\'t yet a sim

the point is every negative post about ID does not have to have a reply post about the negatives of other games out. just like every negative post about 2k3 doesn't need a follow up post about bad things with ID or Live and so on and so forth. the post was made solely about ID, no mention of any other game whatsoever so the comparison is not needed, and since it's been done in 300 other threads already gets a bit annoying. every post about one of these games does not have to turn into a post about all of the games.

        I love ID 2003, But I can't agree more.

I just want to say, don't come on the boards and post negative remarks without some backlash.

        We LOVE our videogames.

Then again, we shouldn't take everything so personal.

i agree too,but the free throw problem doesn't happen to me ...i don't know what exactly is the free throw problem??? but every time i play i go to the line from 15 to 30 times each game. Lack of free throw attempts?? I don't tink so 15 ft attempts per game is good enough for me especially when both teams average that

Re: ID isn\'t yet a sim

I think in ID, what's good is so good it overshadows the bad. The lack of free throws is frustrating, and I've tried pivoting, pumpfaking, etc. and I still draw only a handful of shooting fouls per game.

As for the rebounds, I can live with it. I've been playing with the Bulls, and with Donyell Marshall at the 4 and Chandler at the 5, they've averaged 9 and 8 rebounds per game, which is realistic enough for me. There are some monster rebound games but usually the leading rebounder for me or the CPU is in the 12-15 range.

But the strategy of each team attacking you differently is what makes this a much better game and closer to a sim than Live or NBA 2k3.
