I only played the first In the Zone on the N64. It had Glen Rice on the cover.

I don't think National Anthems were in the N64 version?

I loved this one, too! My favorite arcade sports games as a kid had huge sprites like this one and WWF WrestleFest, both still favorites and fun to play today. Unfortunately, the only home port we ever got was NBA Give n' Go on the SNES. It was still ok but lacked the same charm due to the smaller player models.

Wow, Run and gun TWO? I absolutely love the first one. I really didn't live the second one. Maybe I'll give it another try. I feel like I try it ever 5 years and inevitably I go back to the original

            Hey,

You're definitely not alone! I vividly remember playing that Konami basketball game in the 90s – epic quarters spent. It had this unique vibe with the context-dependent dribbling and those insane put-back jams. Such a gem.

As for bringing it back, you're onto something. The Xbox Live Marketplace or PlayStation Network could totally revive the glory. Would love to see that happen.
