120% False. The CPU is not that good in man to man in 2k9. If you are playing off the ball its to help the AI in other areas. Its to help when the CPU gets beat, its to deny post scorers the ball or watch for cutters, its to follow a shooter in a zone, its not to let the AI go one on one because a lot of times they dont contest the shot.When I was talking about playing off ball, let me clarify, I am saying they do that because the AI defense is able to stick to you like a magnet. This is what happens also with the help defense. So, it's not that the defense is in the right spots per se, the defense is in the same spots as it is in Live. However, the problem is that the person being there is somehow super powered. Unless, of course, you are more super powered as a 101 rated Kobe or LeBron.
I actually like how the defense rides you. Charges work real well this year, even with default sliders.How many times in 2k have you faked someone up or got them out of position and either been stuck to them and not been able to get around them in time... or gone through the lane and ended up getting stuck to someone else? To me, it has happened plenty and I have played a bit of the 'next gen' 2k. That does not happen to me at all in Live.
I never agreed with you nor did I say I played much of Live beyond the demo. The only reason why I'm defending 2k9 is because I have seen how good the game is with good rosters, and sliders which is easy to come by with fileshare. With the right rosters and sliders this is the best sports game on the market.To be honest, you try to point out the lack of logic in my posts, but moreso you are misunderstanding what I am saying. Further, you are obviously biased towards NBA 2k and I doubt you have played much NBA Live. You say Live blows 2k out of the water and you came in here to defend 2k. Sad, dude.
Again you are criticizing me because you say I haven't played Live. I'm not even talking about Live, but you are talking about 2k9 and I can tell you have no clue because the game doesnt have unshakable defense. If someone lets me isolate Roy or Bayless, or Outlaw on the CPU I would make 65+% of my shots easy.I know one thing, though, if someone wanted to play for money I'd want to play Live... because I'd know that my skill decided the game. The point in saying you see them weird dunking animations in 2k more brings up fanboyism.Live players travels alot when they dunk
Now if you would've said that the post game was better or controls easier you would have had a pointComment
