Re: Live 10 vs. NBA 2K10
I'm getting both. I haven't bought Live since 2005, so this'll be the first time in a while. But from what I played of the demo and everything Da_Czar has showed, I'm very interested. And of course, 2K always brings a solid game, so definitely getting that as well.Comment

Re: Live 10 vs. NBA 2K10
Looks like 2K has a reasonable lead.
When Live brings some sort of Franchise worth playing to the table I might be swayed. I like some things about the game but overall I can't give up 2K.Comment

Re: Live 10 vs. NBA 2K10
Graphically, I think one area where Live is better than 2k is more differentiation between body types for the players. Too many players in 2k10 basically have the same build. For example on the Clippers, Chris Kaman looks basically the same as Blake Griffin and in real life they are totally different.
In the live demo, you can see clearly the different body types of everyone in the hangar.Comment

If you're not into simulation basketball and only franchise simulations, buy those manager games where all you do is simulate seasons.
Boring to the majority of us but whatever floats your boatComment

Re: Live 10 vs. NBA 2K10
Live 10, for me.
2K's player movement is still a bit too unpredictable, and the players slide too much, still. Not to mention, the post defense is basically nonexistent. The controls are still a bit too complicated, and clunky, also. I think they should've kept the larger player models, too. The players look too small, and the gameplay feels too soft. Stellar presentation as always, though.
Could 2K's presentation be much better than the actual gameplay this year?Comment

Re: Live 10 vs. NBA 2K10
Does 2k teams act like they should? ie: LA and triangle, Cavs LBJ heavy on offense? An how about defensive approach? SA, BOS, CaVs do they play more intense D? And how is Live in all those areas? This is all that matters to me... Unfortunately (not really, but you know... :P) I'm getting my first child in a week or so and I will have time for one game only... So please, can someone compare this aspects of games for me?Comment
