I like the "look" of Live and the defense in Live, but that game doesn't have enough staying power for me. In 2k, I love the modes and accessibility of the gameplay, but 2k's single biggest flaw next to its control scheme is the stupid teammate AI. On All-Star it is agonizing on how difficult it is to bear when you play good on-ball D and then the CPU sends a bullet lead pass to a cutting player just as the Shot Clock expires. Despite this, 2k garters most of my playing time over Live.
      My Teams:
      NBA: Miami Heat
      NFL: New Orleans Saints
      MLB: New York Yankees
      SOCCER: Real Madrid/ Man United

I am still so up in the air. I enjoy playing both games. Once I think I have settled on one, I play the other one and I am back to square 1. Kind of a cool problem to have.

I would like to settle on one though because I want to eventually give NCAA a try. I can't see that I could give quality time to two NBA games and a college game.

I'm in the same boat. I feel like, I'm like a kid again. I stop playing one and then some things happen in the game (WTF moments) and make me want to play the other game. Then I start reading the impressions thread again and post patch threads it's just so damn crazy. I like it but, it drives me crazy. It is a really good thing though because I hate having only 1 football game. Sorry mods.

I will say this though, NCAA is a good game but, does have some serious issues. Check out the forum and demo before buying though. Just trying to help.

I have not played or had one single impulse to purchase 2k10.

NBA 2k9 was the 2nd video game that made me ANGRY when I played it. NBA Live 07, being the other.

From what I observed, nothing much changed from this year, compared to last.

2k10 is leaps and bounds better than 2k9.

I have been a 2k guy since NBA 2k but I LOVE Live this year. It is hands down the most enjoyable bball game I've ever played. I don't seem to have the issues most people are having. I run fast breaks easily and do post ups easily as well.

                I give 2K10 a 8.5 and Live a 9.0.

Live just seems more realistic to me.

That's fine, I still gave my copy away because of the "wtf" moments. Things that happen that shouldn't there's a bugs glitches thread that has hundreds of examples if you need.

Ya, the controls are there, the posting up is not as bad as people made it out to be but the "wtf" moments and the non-existent user and A.I. defense pisses people off too much.

They had this video about defensive rotation, well I've made 3-4 videos showcasing that as BS. Your CPU teammates are too stupid to pick up the guy that blows passed you. They don't even move or react if the guy is in front of them.

2K10 is more of a complete game, NBA Live has more potential.

I think both games r good but I gotta
give the crown too live this year ... The thread title was
the exact opposite for me... Bought 2k rented live ... Played both....just didn't like 2k and really
missed live after I returned it....I just liked
the atmosphere and the controls way more seemed
fun and exciting..2k for me was
extremly frustrating exp and I have been a hugeeee 2k fan but I don't know seems like they don't care anymore.
