Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Has anyone else found that the 2009-2010 updated rosters lead to more jobs opening? I played about 7 years of a closed legacy with the default 08 rosters and have yet to get an offer to a power school- the best I could do was a MAC team, or Hawaii.

I'm looking to start from scratch with the updated rosters, and I really want to get that Power Conference job achievement.

If anyone knows let me know.

Decided to sim up to when the 2009 season would begin even though it's not the real schedule. 3rd year with Ucla and am 10-3 right now, I've been able to do some pretty good recruiting. First simmed year we won 28 games second simmed year we only won 16 and now I have started out my third year pretty well, I only play my conference games and any tournament game I am in.

Played that game with VCU at Florida State, lost by 22. Got horribly out rebounded and FSU has that Alabi guy who's 7'2" with 99 for blocking, he shut down the paint. My freshman had 20 pts on 8-16 shooting, lowering his season average to 34.7.

I'm going to make sure to schedule FSU again, this time at home next year. He's like a clone of Thabeet in this game, it's amazing how much he shut down the paint, he was blocking fade aways, short jumpers, layups - the whole nine. You never see that in other basketball games.

Thanks for the info on the tights btw, thing I'm going to pick up some under armor at the outlet near me.

Well we got back on the horse last night (or tried to anyway), starting a career legacy as North Florida and just got hammered by Maryland 82-46. I didn't expect to pull this one out but 36 point beatdown, hopefully this was the shakin the rust off game or it's gonna be a long year. Hampton is up next so that should help!

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Started a new legacy with Howard...wasnt bad there, went 32-34 in 2 years and got a job coaching Oakland where i had just as much a time...up and down, went 23-8 (NIT lost), 10-18 (recruits were thin for me), & 18-11 (nothing to brag about, missed both tourneys). After that i got the job with my current team S. Illinois, which was already decent, but lost talent my 1st year, 14-17...2nd yr, SO MUCH more talent went 21-10 and lost in my 1st NCAA tourney to Duke. Topping it off i lost 4 of my starting line up to graduating, but i got my 1st top 20 class and with 2 4-star freshman, 1 5-star sophomore , and 2 4-star sophomores. My front line has been beastin, but my fresh point is a bit TO prone and takes bad shots...but is my 2nd option behind my 5 star forward Hollins whose only 6'8"...currently 3-3 with Colorado the only decent team i beat & losses to Texas (lost by 9 @ the end), S.Miss (OT miss @ the buzzer...AND i was up by 9 in the 2nd half), & Wisconsin (another loss down the stretch, down by 1 with 2 min to go). Now i face off with Louisville, who got the top recruit @ PF this past off-season. I figure my frontline can stay with theirs...i just hafta push the ball w/o the stupid mistakes, and press the whole game, hopefully we're still in it late.

                      BTW they're 7-0

i just got this game last week and updated rosters to seryn's 09-10. i started an open legacy with my alma mater UCincy Bearcats. Im playing 12mins halves on AConf diff. im 4-0 so far. Y. Gates PF, Stephenson SG, Vaughn PG, and I. Thomas PF are beasting so far.

Thomas is going so hard that i might have to bench bishop at SF and switch them. he plays like 6-8 mins and always scores double digits and at least 4 rebs. i cant imagine him playing like 18mins. i might do it against Xavier who i play in 2wks and will be my first ranked opponent and of course a hometown rivalry. cant wait for that game.

i only have 2 scholarships this yr. got a 3 star PF @ 100% and a 4star PG at like 96%. we'll see how that pans out

Played the HS all-star game and he was rated 80 and his draft buzz said #1 pick. Could have been the final piece to the puzzle for us.

I got this last week, and soon found the classic teams to my liking.

So, i've been taking the 07-08 teams and replacing them with classic teams. For example, i replace Oklahoma with 1988 Oklahoma. It's alot of fun. Only it's hard to do more than 1 season because you have like 9 scholarships and 7 seniors.

Anyways, i'm going to do some updates on my progress. I'm going to be EDIT: 1957 Kansas.

Ok, so i started a career legacy with Maine, and I haven't left the school yet. Since i suck at playing out games, and i'm impatient, i sim all my games. The year is now 2027, i just got a lifetime contract with Maine . I've compiled a career record of 361-252. I've coached Maine to the NCAA Tournament a few times, 4 times to be exact, the most recent coming the current year, with a final record of 29-3 and a high of a 21 ranking.

I'm in Year 2 of my Florida A&M legacy and after starting the season 5-2, I've dropped 4 games in a row...2 of of those games were lost in UGLY fashion. Hopefully I can pick up these next two wins against Kennesaw State and Monmouth.(My team really isn't that good)

I lost a heartbreaker to Delaware State, 65-59 in OT, after bricking a few free throws down the stretch that would've put the game away.

In Year 1, I went 12-19 losing to Norfolk State in the 1st round of the MEAC Tourney.
