Yeah man, to make that jump from being a middle team in your conference, to winning it, you gotta start bringing in 3 stars IMO. if i give a 2 star a scholarship it's usually a dead eye shooter with A shooting or a legit 7 foot big man

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
1-2 in my first season with the Texas State Bobcats.
First season, first game I got destroyed 83-57 by Colgate.
Second game played Kennesaw St. , I had the lead for most of the 1st half and some of the 2nd, but their defense and rebounding king (can't remember name, but finished with 19 rebounds) finished me off.
Third game played UT-Pan-American. Beat them fairly easily for my first win, 70-61.
Best player so far is my beast 6'7'' shooting guard Russ Begley (fake name)
Hopefully that win against UTPA jumpstarts a winnning streak.
Averaging 21.3 ppg for me.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I started my career legacy with Mercer with updated rosters. I won 15 games my first year, mostly simming. Had the top seed for the conference tournament but I choked and lost in the first round.
Lost 3 starters, and my 3 main scorers so year 2 was a down year. I only won 6 games and didn't even make the conference tourny.
Year 3 was much better. I brought in a 3* PG as well as a 3* Juco SG. Also had 3 transfers all in the high 60s but they had to sit out a year. Won 15 games, 10 in the conference. Won the first game in the conference tourney but lost in the second round because I missed a three at the buzzer that would have tied.
I got offered the UNC Asheville job, in the offseason. They had made the dance 2 years in a row and their coach went to Gonzaga. I decided to take the job, mainly because they had a 3* PF rated 77 that I had recruited heavily, but lost the battle to them.
I lost my first game on a last second 3 pointer. Won my next 6 including an upset over 85 rated Virginia, before getting blown out by Florida. Got a few more tough non conference games including Duke, before conference play begins. Hopefully I can make the big dance for the first time, and get a mid major job within the next few years.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
hey you mentioned getting 3 transferes, and i was wondering if anyone could help me with this question...
how often do you guys get transfers when you don't fill out all you're scholarships? i usually do so i've never gotten a transfer but this year i have 5 scholly's available and i'm not sure if i can fill them with the caliber player i'm lookin for...
i'm still at Easter Illinois and i've been getting a 4 star every year as well as some top 3 stars but this year isn't looking good, also how good can i expect the transfers to be? my outgoing senior class is star-studded and the class i just brought in was 3 4* guys a point a 3 and a center...Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I was 32-0 with Gonzaga headed into the Sweet 16... and promptly lost a heartbreaker to Kansas 82-77. I pulled in the nation's #2 recruiting class, but I lose almost my entire rotation except my starting PG, and my starting PF.
Yay for rebuilding seasons... not.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Well my UConn dynasty started off bad with me being 11-10, and we lost our next 4 to Villanova, Notre Dame again, Syracuse and Michigan. But then it looked like a light switch turned on. We won our last 5 to close the regular season. We quickly took care of Rutgers and Seton Hall again, then shocked #7 West Virginia, and later beat up on South Florida and Providence.
I was the #11 seed in the Big East tournament and faced Pitt. I changed the court to NIT, because technically that's MSG. While playing Pitt, we played the best we played all year fastbreaking at every moment. I took care of them by 12 points, and moved on to face West Virginia. WVU was still ranked in the top 10, but we came to play and it was the Stanley Robinson show. He had atleast 6 dunks, and dropped 32 on the Mountaineers. Butler had 21, and Ebanks had 18 and they had a chance to win it with a Butler 3. Luckily it rimmed out, and I moved on to the Big East semi-finals.
There, I faced #24 Marquette, and tried to thwart Lazar Hayward. He played great though and ended up with 32 points. With the game tied, Hayward drove to the hoop and got fouled but only made 1 free throw with 8 seconds left. Quickly, I threw it into Walker who drove coast to coast and got hammered with 1.6 seconds left. Walker came up clutch, and hit both freebies to take the lead. Marquette called TO, and threw a bomb to Hayward who caught it just shy of the 3 and let it fly. I took a risk with Stanley Robinson and went for the block. I swatted the shot, and avoided the foul, one that could've easily have been called. We escaped with a victory and went to the championship against Syracuse, and it was win or go home for both teams who were out of the bubble picture.
The Syracuse game was amazing, with Wesley Johnson dropping 41, and Robinson having 22, Dyson 21. I was down 4 with 1 minute left but Stanley hit a 3, and we forced a bad shot from Scoop Jardine, getting the ball back with 15 seconds left. I ran a pick and fade play with Walker and Dyson. Walker rolled of the pick and the defenders followed him, and he passed it to a wide open Dyson. Dyson caught the ball and took it to the rim and scored the game winner. Rautins hada shot with a 40 foot prayer which scared me by hitting back rim.
I gained an automatic bid with a miraculous run in the tournament, and was matched up with 8 seed Clemson. It was a hard fought game, but in the end the Clemson press got a couple big steals and Dyson missed an open 3 pointer at the end of regulation to win it, and it went to OT. In the extra period, Booker had a big and1, and Stitt had a 3 that clinched it.
Louisville won it all, even though they didn't have that good of a squad, and I am advancing to the next season. Fun first season that was tough, but ended really strong with 9 straight wins until the Clemson loss.I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I started of with north florida and stayed there for about 14 years. After signing about 4 All-Americans and numerous 4 * and 3* prospects and about 7 drafted prospects and not making it past the first weekend in the tournament except for 1 time i decided to bolt for Michigan. Who also stole the #1 recruit in America from me.
Right now we are 8-2 and i signed the number 2 recruit in the nation. My JR recruiting class is looking real good as im near the top of the list of about 3 of the top 10 prospectsComment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
went 28-6 (still at Liberty) and got bumped out in the 2nd round with a team of basically all sophomores and juniors, now they're all upper classmen and we're an 88 overall, this is the year i think i want to make a sweet 16 run and maybe try to move into a bigger school.
i have two twin tower big men again, a 7'2" natural PF (junior) who is an 84 overall, will be a solid 18 and 8 kind of player, then i have a 7'2" C (junior) 79 overall center playing beside him
i have an 80 overall SG (junior) with an 85 in 3 pt shot, who can get buckets.
this team will be pretty stacked next year too, i have 5 recruits and i'm going to try to bring in all 4* recruits, maybe a 5* if i canComment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Just finished Year 2 with St. Francis (NY).
Very solid year for us, we finished 17-14 with a tough loss in the 2nd round of the conference championship tourny (Robert Morris, 5 point loss). The goal for the season was a winning record and to make the conference tourney. Check check.
No whiffs on the job boards, not that I was expecting any.
Off-season starts with a nice transfer, a 74 ovr SG (Elmore). And, my starting center grew 2 inches (6'10-7'0). My SF also grew an inch, up to 6'8.
Then we land a 7 player class (I only landed 1 the year before).
3-star SF Lynwood Davidson (#307, #60 SF)
3-star SG Sampson (#281 ovr, #86pos)
2-star SG Gibbs (#753, #199 POS)
2-star SG Rhet Len Bullicer (JUCO SO)
2-star SG Wood
2-star C Gerard Pierce (7'1)
2-star PF Monwell Moreno (6'9)
Going into year 3 we return are 3 leading scorers. PG Caddel (16pt, 6ast). SG Rubino (12ppg), SF Petricic (10pt, 5reb). Plus we bring back our starting center (5/5, but he didn't start early).
Now we add an upgrade at PF (changed Davidson to a PF because he has a solid rebounding rating and mediocre 3 point, previous PF was only a 5/5 guy)
The bench gets stronger with Sampson starting at the 2, bumping previous starter Rubino to our 6th man (58ovr for Rubino, 68 for Sampson). Our "3rd" big comes back (last years only recruit, a 7'1 JUCO center) and Moreno is a better 4th than we had last year.
Goals for Year 3:
20 wins.
Win Conference.
Make the dance.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I'm currently recruiting a 5-star sophomore center to try to come to St. John's University. I just shut off the game, but I've revealed a lot of his ratings and he is going to be an absolute monster on defense and looks to be able to run the floor well. Would not surprise me if he is a top-10 player in his class and maybe even top-3. I just hope I can get him to come to Queens!Comment
