Beat Radford 76-63. Great team win. My backup power forward has earned himself a starting job now. His last 4 games hes been in double digit points, and the one game he almost reached a double double. Im 3-10(1-1) lets see if the Buc's can keep it up!

After losing in my tournament game to UT Pan American, i then played Liberty in my 3rd conf game. I won 83-53.My team is finally coming along it seemjs. In the Liberty Game, i had 4 guys in double figures, with my point guard Jamarco Warren leading with 17. That puts me at 4-11. This team may struggle this year...but only losing one senior and 2 freshman in the starting lineup and 2 sophomores in the forwards spots. the rest of my team is young as well. My backup PG who is just as good as Warren is also a freshman, my backup forwards are sophmores. Lookout NCAA.My Newport Falcons Football Dynasty (Teambuilder) (CFB25)

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
After 3 years and a conference and tournament championship as well as a March Madness bid (first in school history), I decided to leave Sacramento State and go to George Mason. Like Sac State, George Mason is a young squad with tons of potential. Going from the big sky to the colonial is also an upgrade from 26th ranked conf. to the 21st. Also I like how all 12 teams make the conference tournament in the colonial instead of only 6 of the 9 teams being able to play in let.
I'm very excited for a fresh start! Go Patriots!Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Fun -- where did Larranaga go in your game?
So I'm in year two with Kent State. I started off 3-4 with tough losses to every good team I faced -- Stanford (90 OVR ranked 15), Saint Josephs (They are 92 OVR and ranked 13), and Pitt. My best player and only good senior, PF Wiley, got injured and I was struggling.
Then I went on a roll, winning the Hawaii Invitational including a win over #7 undefeated Providence. They had no height and no depth, and I really matched up well with them. The following week I faced Seton Hall and beat them. So I'm 8-4, have proved that I can match up with some power conference teams, and heading into conference play. Here's my team
Kent State
PG- K. Lindeman 66 ovr SR
SG- R. Clayton 72 ovr JR
SF- J. Blake 68 ovr SO
PF- R. Wiley 81 ovr SR 6'10"
C- N. Smithson 81 ovr JR 6'8'
PF- C. Nava 79 ovr JR 6'10"
C- N. Krauser 73 ovr SO 7'0"
You can see most of my talent is down low. I don't have much of an outside threat yet, unfortunately. Trying to fix that through recruiting.RTTS: CL Antonio Ramos, drafted 1-4 by the Miami MarlinsComment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
things are looking good for me i really think i have a chance to win my first national title in the 11 years i have been coaching.. here is the run down of my career..
UNC-G
year 1- 14-19
year 2- 29-6 2nd round
year 3- 26-9 2nd round
Nevada
year 4- 34-1 elight eight
year 5- 34-3 elight eight
Mizzou
year 6- 17-14
year 7- 30-7 final four
year 8- 34-4 championship game
year 9- 27-9 elight 8
year 10- 30-8 final four
year 11- current season 11-0
this year i feel like i have the strongest team i have ever had here is my schedule and results..
vs. San Francisco 90-65 W
vs. Middle Tenn St. 77-47 W
Vs. Alcorn State 86-71 W
Vs. SMU 85-69 W
vs. #22 West Virginia 104-72 W for the final of the college hoops classic A
At. #8 Arizona 85-75 W
At. Wyoming 110-77 W
Vs. Marshall 77-60 W
Vs. Texas State 102-67 W
Vs. #6 Florida 88-67 W
I have four more non conference games before i head into big 12 conference play..
i have to play 10-1 santa clara, 4-4 notre dame, 3-5 UCF, and central conneticut 6-3.. I feel pretty confident that we can close out non conference undefeated but our conference play is stacked with some good teams.. texas, kansas, texas A&m, and oklahoma state always have solid teams since i have took over at mizzou.. but I thought florida was going to give me problems and my D just continues to be a monster! i have only picked up one 5 start prospect throughout my career at mizzou so far, but i have signed a lot of great 4 stars they have high potential and great shooting skills my favorite player is my back up sophmore shooting guard Rod Cowen his 92 rating at 3 pointers is great.. best sixth man i have ever had..
btw i use the coach mode or CPU vs. CPU sliders.. I think I have finally got mizzou into a power house now i just need to win a national title!!! lol it's so hard the one year i made it to the championship game i had 5 seniors and they werent the most talented group, but they had a lot of experience we just couldn't win against the team we were playing because their skills were just outrageously better than ours..Mizzou Tigers

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
In my second game of conference play I lost to 1-10 NIU by like ten points. I was never really in the game.
Weird.
I will say, unlike other sports games, it didn't feel like a CPU cheating. My guys just didn't show up and I didn't have schematic answers to what they were doing.RTTS: CL Antonio Ramos, drafted 1-4 by the Miami MarlinsComment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Well, won my next two against teams closer to my team's level. I beat Western Michigan by 30 points. They were 13-5 when I played them. It wasn't close at any point.
Then I beat Buffalo at their court by one point with a buzzer beater. Great game, very back and forth with long runs by both teams.
Question: To get hired at a power conference school, do you have to coach for a major conference school first? Or is it just based on success and coaching ability?RTTS: CL Antonio Ramos, drafted 1-4 by the Miami MarlinsComment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I'm in year 4 at Western Illinois. My first year I made the NCAA Tourney and made it all the way to the sweet 16. I haven't been back since. Oddly, this has made the game more satisfying to me because I've want to get back so bad. I went through the growing pains (only 13 wins last year), but I think I've finally got the team to make it back. We're a good 5-4 with some good wins and a couple tough losses and we're about to start some conference games. I've got a starting lineup that's been together for 2 years, and a deeper bench then I anticipated. My starting SF got hurt so I gave a JUCO signee some major minutes. Last two games he scored 22 and 17 points respectively. My starting SF was averaging 7 points a game. If he continues like this, I might have to start the kid. This is the most enjoyable season in a sports game I've had in a while.KaBoom

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I was smoking #14 Creighton at their place with Iowa last night and got too cocky and cute with my decisions on the court and it burned me. Was up by 14 at half and then lost by 4.
The second half was a nightmare. 12 turnovers alone there and got into foul trouble with Cartwright, McCabe, and Basabe. I guess I felt the need to drive a lot and stopped getting the calls from the refs.
I wish I could take that one back. That would have been a big win for my team on the road. I wasted a great 1st half.Last edited by Herky; 01-10-2012, 02:42 PM.GT: Herkyalert

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Well I have one more game this year in my first year @ George Mason (4th yr total) and I stand at 14-15. If I beat Georgia State I'll move up to 7th in the standings, but if I lose I'll drop to 9th.
With as young a team as we have, I have to say I'm pretty pleased on how things have gone. We've had our struggles (losing 5 of 6 at one point) and our high points (beating rival James Madison by 20
and knocking off last year Colonial champ VCU.)
I'll update again after the Georgia State game and our first conf. tournament game.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
So after I lost my final game of the reg season (w/ George Mason) to Georgia State, we ended the regular season with a 14-16 record. We were set to play Drexel in the 1st rd of the Colonial tournament. The Dragons beat me earlier in the year by 6 so I knew I had a chance. We ended up winning after being down 4-11 early in the first half and going on a huuuuge run and we never looked back and won by 11.
Next we had the conference winner Old Dominion. ODU had 3 fantastic guards and a 7'0" center so I knew I had to play balls out.
Again, we were down big for 90% of the 1st half until my PG,SG, and backup SF all hit a 3, 3 straight trips down. We were up 12 at halftime. To start the 2nd half, ODU came out firing and by the 10 min mark (I play 15 min quarters) they had tied the game (I seriously thought it was done after this). From then until around 4 min left they were up by as man as 8 points until I got a 3 from my SF and we started rallying. We took a 1 point lead with 2 minutes left and had all the momentum. We ended up winning by 13 after they had to start fouling. This was BY FAR the most intense nerve racking game this year! So now we are in the "final 4" in the Colonial tourney and we play Townson next! Go Patriots!!!!Last edited by PhillyPhanatic; 01-13-2012, 02:28 PM.Comment

So.. if you get a transfer do they have to sit out a year? Edit: To answer myself, yes, he's sitting out.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Well after running 9 seasons with Butler and just winning the Nat'l title for the 2nd time I decided to start a closed legacy. I chose IPFW because they have some size and balance at each position. The pg jordan and sf gaines both can score. The 1st season I went 24-8 winning the conference and making it to the tournament and getting to the 2nd round. I lost a center and pf and didnt get a good center recruiting so I only have 1 and its been a tougher season even though i am on pace to finish with a decent record, currently 18-7.Comment
