It is really cool to see that over the course of your legacy. Conferance opponents are hard to beat in real life because you play them every season. I struggle against Eastern Michigan every stinking time.
    Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

      Hey everyone-

I'm new to posting here, but I've been keeping up with this thread for a while. I have to admit, this game owns my soul too. I just started up a closed legacy with South Dakota State and have been working with sliders to try and make it as close to realistic as possible. Is there a common set of sliders that has been widely agreed upon by the OS community?

      Thanks guys.

Re: This game owns my soul.

My drive for perfection is no more.

In the 2011 season of my Auburn legacy, my Tigers, 22-0 and #1 in the nation, left Rupp Arena 22-1 as Kentucky (17-8) knocks me off 88-79.

I was down 8-10 points most of the game but once again, my Tigers responded late, tying the game at 73 all on a Shawan Joseph 3 pointer. But it was all Kentucky in the final 3 minutes, as they pulled away and won by 9.

Joseph, my 6'6" SG and Former Mr. Basketball in the state of Georgia, led Auburn with 25 points, including hitting 7 of his first 9 3 point attempts (he has an 89 3 point rating).

Patrick Patterson led UK with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Beast.

I was really hoping I could run the table in the regular season....a long shot I know but man, when I tied it up with 3 minutes to go I thought I had it.

well my tournament didnt go to well... lost to VCU in the first round by 23 (I was an 11 seed)... it was one of the most ridiculous games ive ever played, VCU shot 67% from the field, i'm pretty sure i gave up the most points in a game in my entire legacy

idk how the hell i'm supposed to beat that lol... very frustrating to go the whole year, actually feel like you have a chance to win a tourny game, and then have that happen

I tell ya, if you ever get kinda bored with this game you should start a legacy with a team that you move into a new conference. I mentioned before that I moved Xavier into the Big 10 and I'm having a blast.

Take Memphis and put them in the Big East for South Florida, take Gonzaga and put them into the Pac-10. Put Butler into the Big 10 or Creighton into the Big 12. I'm thinking about taking local Quinnipiac or Central CT State and moving them into the A-10 for a nice challenge.

So much potential and possibilities with this feature.

and i'm back on it. I restarted my 2011 Legacy with Winston Salem State right at the tournament selection show!!! As an 11 seed we upset Temple. And just beat NC State (With JJ Hickson) to advance to the sweet 16

This game definately owns me. I just re-bought it about three and half weeks ago and am playing a closed legacy with Princeton. In my first year I went 13-15. I had a bad recruiting class and now I have a far more worse team in my second season. My record is 1-5. I hope I dont get fired.

I'm in my second year with St. John's and just thought about that. I was debating between a career legacy or playing in a major conference. I like building up a bad team as well as my coach, but playing against the big boys is just so much fun. Unfortunately, I thought about this about a month and a half too late.

I just got this game a while ago and love my closed legacy with Grambling State. The team sucks, but they have a Sr SG who is lights out from downtown and is averaging 23.9 pts a game (4th in the country). I just won my conference and the conference tourney and my reward is..... UCONN! A 2 seed with Hasheem Thabeet who just happens to have 99 blocking.

You better ice your guards shooting arm until the game and let him fire away from behind the arc! GL

Ya most of his points are 3's. He hits 50% and aroung 4-6 a game. Only problem is this 1st year team has 2 big men, tallest is 6'8".

Yeah, I thought about moving Towson into the A-10 but I'm a sucker for realism.

My nemesis with Wake is NC State. I go back & forth with them despite beating Duke & UNC 3 straight times.

You know, I posted on this thread a little over a year ago... and I still agree - best sports game ever made.

This morning, I was playing my sweet sixteen game in the tourney (Kentucky -me vs UCLA - using current rosters). The game was back and forth all game long and I forced a turn over with seven seconds left in the game down by 2.

I made two very quick passes up court to my PG streaking to the basket with only 1 defender to beat, my guy catches it and goes up for a contested layup. I figured I'd draw a foul, but they let em play. Ball is released with 0.7 seconds on the clock, time expires and less than a second later my layup clangs off the front of the rim, falling to the floor - sending me home a loser. I wanted to cry lol. My 5 year old then laughs after I explained the whole thing to my wife and her friend (who thought I was weird for caring), and then he says, "Ha ha you lost."

I wanted to ground him for a month.

                            Best sports game ever.

Worst turn for me though... Patrick Patterson, Jodie Meeks and Kevin Galloway all left for the NBA draft - and I did not get scholarships in their absense... I'm screwed lol.

Does anyone know if this is a bug? or anyone know a fix? Losing three players to the NBA and not being able to replace them with scholarship players is gonna kill me this coming season.

I just decided to do this with Fresno State. Moved them to the Pac-10 for Oregon State. My first year in the Pac-10 is most likely to be an epic fail but i will like the challenge.
