^ Fist's MOP sliders. So far they have been cheese-free, the only thing I'm starting to see is that the CPU is rebounding a little to well. I see guys with 70's for rebounding consistently beating my guys in the high 80's so I might make a few tweaks.

Re: This game owns my soul.
I just play on All American with a few tweaks.
Lowered Human mid range and lay up success a few points
Lowered Human 3 points success 2 points
Raised CPU's 3 point success 2 points
13 minute halves
real FT% on
clutch factor off
I do play with Wright State though, so if you are playing with a big school these may not suit you as well(I've never played with any other team, so I couldn't tell you).Comment

I typically control one person on D (usually the PF or C) to make it so I don't jump passing lanes and then crash the boards hard.Comment

Re: This game owns my soul.
i love the detail put into dynasty mode with shows, stats, coaching carousels etc., but ive been playing this game so long that the gameplay has become almost boring. I can tell every single play the offense is about to do. I can tell what shots are going in and going out. I can tell sometimes if the CPU will come back or not. I can especially tell when someone will score 30 points on you and there is nothing you can do about it. Does anyone else have this problem?I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.Comment

I can only tell when I'm most likely going to make it or miss it, but that's because I can guess by how long I held it for. I'm not always right though. I can't tell when the cpu is going to make it or miss it though(not sure if you can, but it sounds like you're saying you can).
I can't really tell when the cpu is going to make a comeback, any chance you have clutch factor on? Because when I had that on the cpu comeback was nearly inevitable IMO.
I can't really tell when someone is going to put 30 up on me either. I mean I do notice when someone is doing really good and I have a feeling they'll put up a lot of points on me. But when I see someone doing really good I usually will make some adjustments, maybe play them tight or possibly double team them(although I don't like to double team players a whole lot unless they're a big man).
Maybe you've played it a whole lot and just noticed these things, but I've yet to notice them and I've played about 120 games overall.Comment

Re: This game owns my soul.
I can tell which plays the cpu is doing, but I don't jump the passing lanes or anything because that wouldn't be fair(not saying you do, but that's how I keep it fair). So it doesn't bother me too much.

I can tell when the CPU is gonna make it just by where they shoot it from, off of how many passes, and where the defense is. I've seen every play happen before. If the CPU pulls up from way behind the 3 pt. line its goin in. If they get good ball movement no matter where u r on defense its goin in.
Once I see someone make an impossible shot, then I know for a fact they are droppin 30. Ive seen it all the time and usually its a crappy player. They are just absolutely feelin it that day. Ya and I dont like to double team them because then they automatically get an open 3 out of it. For the comebacks thing, i guess it could be clutch factor.
Ive played tons of games probably more than 120 so I guess Ive just overplayed it. Theres not enough animations for 2 years worth of playing it. Sadly, I think im done playing this once NCAA Basketball 10 comes out. There working alongside NBA Live 10 which looks good so hopefully its good.I will always, always be a Jets fan. Re: This game owns my soul.
I used to do that but I was too dominant with Thabeet. He'd grab 15 boards a night and have his fair share of 20+ rebound games. Lately I've just been sticking to the PG on defense, I figured this would allow the individual rebounding would be more affected by players' ratings. Re: This game owns my soul.
So I played a few games yesterday and a few more today. I had a 5 game winning streak going until I met the likes of Wake Forest. For the first 5 minutes of the game I was hanging in even had the lead a few times. Then came hard times as we continued to miss shots as Wake made them. Wake Forest ended up beating me 92-73. That was the first time I had let up more than 80 points the whole year, I even played #3 Florida earlier in the year and they didn't score that much(but they beat me by that much).
Then I faced off against UW Green Bay, and I thought this was going to be a game that went in my favor. Boy was I wrong, the poor shooting continued along with the poor defense. We ended up only losing by 10 but we played a much worse game than that as I was down by 20+ most the game.
Then I get to go up against Butler, I was concerned my losing streak would continue. Luckily we shot lights out, and ended up winning by about 18 or so. These two past games seemed like they were backwardsI'm now 9-5.
My junior center has become a real force down low recently and is my most consistent player. It's great to see him finally get consistent on the offensive side, not just rebounding and defense. The thing is he is likely to go pro this year as his draft buzz has him going in the first round, I never thought I would see a player of mine leave early to go pro at Wright State. He was a true diamond in the rough.Comment

Re: This game owns my soul.
Loved today's battle against Cincinnati.
I was going for a dunk with my 7'0 C, the game triggered the animation and I though it was 2 point for sure... But the defender went for the block from behind and my player ended up with just his hands on the rim and no ball.
I barely see this type of defense in 2k9, same thing for the block of the backboard I saw on a regular basis on CH2k8.

Re: This game owns my soul.
I'd say I'm late to the party on this game...Bought it two weeks ago for $12 and haven't put another game in the 360 since.
Almost through my first season with Texas St. and have already experienced some of the game's greatness. For instance:
Playing on MOP with slightly adjusted sliders, I manage to defeat Texas in their house and improve my record to 7-2. Obviously, I should have been elated. But I wasn't. How can this victory come so easily? I'm going to have to adjust my sliders soon.
And then I came to this thread, read the stories from users who tell stories of five-game winning streaks that were followed by four-game losing streaks. Surely that doesn't really happen, right? How realistic could this game be?
I lost my next three games.

Re: This game owns my soul.
Ok, you all did it. I'm going to buy this game and start a legacy and get fully immersed in it. I had it before but I returned it.
BTW, any place that I can keep up on CH Open Legacies by other users?
Thanks. When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.Comment

Re: This game owns my soul.
i absolutely love this game. the dynasty mode is so realistic. so i get frustrated with my sacremento st hornets(3-5) so i head to online for the first time! The online mode is awesome. This is the first game where i can actually slow the tempo, run an offense and stop the fast break. I won 49-42.New York Yankees. New York Giants. New York Knick (FML].Comment

at first, I hated this game for various reasons, but now that I use 500bloc's sliders combined with DC/CubsFan's rosters, this game rocks!Comment
