As much as I like this game, it's getting harder and harder to go back to it after playing NBA Live 10 and NCAA Basketball 10.

NCAA definitely has issues but it also does a lot of good things. The motion offense is amazing and the floor spacing is really good. The presentation is solid as well.

I'm sure I'll go back to 2K8 at some point (I always do, lol) but right now, it's tough for me to find room for this game in my rotation.

I'm trying out coach mode/cpu vs cpu mode in 2K8 these days, I just can't play it anymore. After 500 games or however many I've played of 2K8 I just can't play it anymore after playing NCAA '10.

This is something I never thought I'd see YOU say. I've never played NCAA 10, and now I certainly won't b/c I love this game too much. Ignorance will be bliss in my case.

It's probably just because I've played 2K8 so much.

The spacing, playbooks, off-ball movement and controls have worn on me. NCAA 10 does these things better by leaps and bounds over 2K8.

Think I'm going back to 2K8. NCAA 10 does many things right but there are some things I can't let go and one of those is not passing out of the paint/post area. Only if this was patched...

Oh well, 2K8 here I come again.

It's the overall package that makes 2k8 so unreal for me.

There may be some parts that another game does better, but NO game does everything as well as 2k8 does.

The Coaching Carousel alone makes this game unique. Seeing a Mark Few at Gonzaga leave to take over for Lute Olsen at Arizona after he retires. Or to see a coach at Wake Forest get fired and then see 4 Wake Forest players transfer as a result...YES, that really happened.....unbelievable.

EA really needs to take a note from 2k8 on this. A coaching carousel would be incredible on NCAA 11 Football for instance. Plus you could set specific offenses to a specific coach, like Rodriguez running the spread at Michigan. So if a coach leaves, so does his offense.

The gameplay is still excellent IMO. I lost to Wake Forest the other night by 15 in a game that the CPU played beautifully.

The coaching carousel could have been carried out better, I would like to see coaches from major conferences (A-10, C-USA, Mountain West) get power conference jobs before coaches from mid-major conferences. Too much weight is given to coach grade and not record.

That's awesome. What kind of strategy did the Wake Forest CPU team use to win? You play on All American or MOP?

Watching the NCAA Tournament is kind of 'inspiring' me to pick up a College Hoops game again. I haven't played any C-BBall game since 2k8 because I hate EA's games and 2k stopped developing them. I'm thinking about picking this game back up again.

Are people still updating the rosters?

Same with me. I had 2k7 on original xbox collecting dust and watching games indeed inspired me to pop it in. Now i am splitting time watching games and playing 2k7. it's so awesome.

Fired this game up today and yep, still hooked. Just started a new Career Legacy with St. Francis. Lost my first game on a buzzer-beater in OT, 69-66, to Hartford. Great game.

I really like NCAA 10, too, so I'll be going back and forth between both and also mixing in some NBA Live 10. I'm just really into b-ball right now and have no interest in playing Madden or NCAA Football for a few months.

I just did the exact same thing. Hard to find good rosters though for the PS3
