You can edit the schedule for your team. But I don't think you can do the whole NCAA.I just edit my schedule a week ago.

Are those the classic teams that are included in the game?

Included but among the many that you have to unlock via points.

Ehh, game speed is set at 60. Im back to using AA's All American slider settings.
          http://www.operationsports.com/forum...n-sliders.html

I tend to lose more than win, so maybe my skill level isnt quite at the level of your fist MOP edited settings. Stats are nearly perfect. about 8 TOs per team per game. about 15-20 Fts. PIP is around 36 out of a 80 point game. always less than 50%... The drive and kick game is sufficient as Ive shown in the past few vids. I still have those fist settings saved. I shall embark on another game with those. I never had a bad game with the speed edit. I guess I went back to what was familiar for me.

Is there some sort of cheat to unlock all of the teams?
Also, I recommend that you guys try AA sliders with game speed at 38 and player speed at 80. It feels very smooth.

fired this up last night, but no patience to re-learn all the controls. Maybe if I had some close to date rosters I would be motivated

I'm horrible on defense in this game. I cannot seem to get stops. Playing on the default difficulty the game is on when you pop it in. I'm not sure why I'm having such a problem. Any tips? It really seems like my teammates are just horrible and can't do anything on their own. They don't jump up for rebounds or blocks, they play too far off their man.

Not to mention the fact that the opposing team seems to get every single offensive board. It seems like the game is out to get me. haha.

I'd say tweak your sliders a bit. I don't use anyone's particular set but more of a hybrid between a few. Most guys seem to have slow game speed which I don't particularly like. I keep it fast, but with low shooting for human and cpu. Another thing I've noticed is many players keep the ballhandling low, which I understand for what they're trying to accomplish, mainly they don't want the bigs to be able to dribble the same way the guards do, and I understand that completely. I keep mine at 70, much higher than most, but still working to tweak things so I might go lower.

I guess I like it to be a good mix between sim and arcade, so I also like high dunk ability, but average success. I want the game to be fun yet challenging. As far as the speed mentioned above I go game speed 75 and player speed 35 which is higher than most of the sliders I've looked at. The additional player speed slider I set to 70, it's weird that there's more than 1 slider for player speed but I saw this on another guys set and tried it out and really liked it.

Good luck figuring out what works for you, in my experience it takes awhile to really get a feel for how u want it. I've been playing for years and still mess with these a lot

Re: This game owns my soul.

Yeah. I might mess with the sliders at some point if this is a constant issue for me. I'm not sure if it's just because I'm still getting used to the game that all this stuff is happening. It's a different beast than the NBA games I guess. Although it really does seem like the game favors the CPU. Its possible I just suck, though. :P

Maybe I'll put it down to Walk On difficulty to get a better feel for it, which is odd to say considering how I normally win easily on pro on NBA 2k10 (with a few scattered losses) and can hold my own on the higher difficulties as well.

Or maybe I should take my legacy like I'm actually a first time coach and still learning how to manage my team efficiently for added realism. So many options. Haha.

Either way I'm very impressed with this game. The CPU is ruthless. The presentation is fantastic. It blew my mind to see the Season Preview Show and the weekly highlights. Why other games don't do the same thing is confusing to me.

Not saying you play this way, but I found the game truly rewards good fundamental basketball.

I was looking to get some unlockable points so I edited one team to be 99 overall in EVERYTHING for EVERYONE, against a team that was edited to be zero or 50 in everything for everyone. I thought the CPU would be a complete push over, but they played very soundly.

I tried playing run and gun, swipe at every pass and go for every deflection, but that wouldnt work EVERY time. I had to play under control and thats when the blowouts would occur

Re: This game owns my soul.

Fired this up last night and started a Legacy with the Anteaters of Irvine. Got blown in out in my first game and lost a nail biter in my second game. I am constantly tweaking the sliders on AA level. I am letting the CPU control my subs and recruiting till I get comfortable with the entire game. It is so deep I am overwhelmed at the moment. I tried freestyle, run n gun in my first game. Big mistake. In my second game I ran ton's of plays and screens and really had a blast. This is much different from the NBA game in all aspects. I am also playing one guy on defense and staying with him letting the CPU play when the ball is passed. I am finding this a very enjoyable way to play defense instead of constantly switching guys. I am running mostly 2-3 and 3-2 zone.

The game is amazing and I really am just getting the feel for it. The recruiting alone looks daunting. So I need to get familiar with the menus and options, as well as the rotation options, drills, pep talks....etc etc etc. The game manuel is pretty useless in that regard!

What an insane game!!!! Really happy I finally got around to firing this up. Best 8 bucks I have spent. Along with the 99 cents for NFL 2K5 on XBOX.

2K sports have it down to a tee.

Re: This game owns my soul.

My St. John's team, coming off a national title in my 4th season (2011-2012) fell to the 10th seeded Texas Longhorns in the Elite Eight of my 5th season (2012-2013). After pulling in the #3 overall recruit (#1 center) who came in rated as an 86 as well as the #13 recruit (#5 point guard) who is a 79 overall, I decided to leave the Big East and St. John's behind. The talent I was able to bring in and play with was too good for me to stay as it was becoming too easy.

So, I end up in Conference USA with the SMU Mustangs. We have a pretty bad team, but recruiting in Texas should allow me to build this program into a dynasty in the C-USA, if not the nation!

I have put recruiting restrictions on myself. I am mainly recruiting in Texas. We are currently a three-star program, so I can sign as many three-star prospects (or two, or one) as I want, but I can only sign one player rated as a four-star. That means, no five-star prospects allowed. Trying to keep it realistic and competitive.

just put in 51 points 7 rebounds 6 assists and 6 steals (4 TO's) in a double overtime win over long beach state with Bradley. this isn't my main legacy file but i've been simming seasons in another file and just recruited this 4* point guard outta puerto rico named eduardo vassallo (unfortunately the announcers don't pronounce it correctly)

                              ANYWAYS

dude has the best handles i've ever played with and ooooooh his mid-range game is oh so silky smooth he's absolutely DEADLY comming off a high screen and roll pullin up from 15-20 feet and sinkin it. i have been using control config. C for a few days now and i love it, it feels so much better when you get into the paint off the dribble now than before.

51 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals... IN HIS SECOND CAREER GAME!

wow. 17-34 from the field, he was doin better than that but he missed a lot of shots at the end with some tired legs, 4-8 from 3, and 13-15 from the charity stripe. at the end of regulation we inbounded with 11 seconds left, he came down the court against a 2-3 zone gave the shooting guard a little crossover, center comes up to stop ball, spins around the center, weaves in and lays it in UNCONTESTED at the basket, try doing that with your point guard to send it into overtime... maaaaaaaaaaan i wish i could transfer this guy over to my northern colorado legacy where i'm playin every game lol

EDIT: thats another thing i love about this game, the mid-range game is MILES better than NBA 2k10

I think I'm close to turning the corner on this game.

I'm doing a legacy with Texas State. I was playing Rice. I was down by as much as 17 points but came back to take the lead. I had a lead of about 7 a few times but they would always come back and tie it up. Eventually they retook the lead and my team kept tieing it up. Missed some easy shots for whatever reason and ended up down by 2 with a few seconds left.

My star player, Brandon Bush (who had 35 points in the game) missed an easy layup close to the basket. We fouled them and the guy missed the free throw. I ran down the court with Bush and heaved up a last second 3 that clanged off the rim. Most heartbreaking loss in my basketball playing career.

I'm liking the challenge that this game presents. I want to continue playing it as much as possible to see if i can conquer it and maybe move up in difficulty.
