I know about your test Jason... I agree with u about dpad operations.
Just like to see if there some freeze link with downloaded rosters...
Ive noticed a spooky detail too, after several games my renamed (from menu) roster file is returned to default value (then with numbered players).

I am trying to play the first game of my dynasty which is an ESPN game and I can't get past the ESPN court logo wipe before they show the first scene from the arena.. I'm freezing mid wipe! 3 times now...

I think I know what I did... when the ESPN overlay splashes ran I was hitting "X" to skip them and get to the game. That's when it froze. I restarted the PS3 and tried playing the game 3 more times and it froze in the same spot I hit the "X" button every time. I deleted the dynasty (it was my first game so all I lost was my first recruiting hits - not a big deal) and started a new one... went to play the first game and it was fine. It auto-saved my first freeze on that dynasty file, lol... all is good now.

I have been freeze free since my initial freeze weeks ago. Starting to enjoy the game again without the thought of it freezing up on me...

I started to suffer a serious hang at the very beginning of every game (after first action), it frooze for 3 seconds maybe, then go fine. Every game ive played now is plagued by that issue. Weird.

this might a dumb question...but how do you clear your cahe on xbox 360??


also, I've only had 3 freezes...once with a dpad sub during a Timeout..I learned from that..

and then twice when the same guy shoots a jumper from the corner...and Gus Johnson screams out " From the Cooooorneeeerrrr"

both times it has been the same kid that shot the ball....weird!!!

Just had 2 freezes playing against Gardner-Webb this is some B.S reading thru this thread it seems you have to do 2 back-flips not sub and pray all at the same time just to get the game not to freeze has EA issued a response or is it the same. WE are aware of this problem and will get to it when he get to it

I asked this question earlier, but I'll ask again.

For the guys with the 360 version, are you downloading it to the HDD and still getting freezes or are you running it off the disc?

Had my first freeze and have had the game since the day it came out. I have a PS3 and had just restarted a dynasty with Indiana St. I had downloaded Bigdmo rosters to restart my dynasty. The game froze with me down to LSU 73-69 with 50 seconds left in the game during a timeout. Hoping this is a 1 time incident if not I will clear out everthing and not use updates or download roster because until I done that I had never had a issue at all.

Had my first freeze and have had the game since the day it came out. I have a PS3 and had just restarted a dynasty with Indiana St. I had downloaded Bigdmo rosters to restart my dynasty. The game froze with me down to LSU 73-69 with 50 seconds left in the game during a timeout. Hoping this is a 1 time incident if not I will clear out everthing and not use updates or download roster because until I done that I had never had a issue at all.

I'm on PS3 and I have only had one freeze in about 60 games, after it froze, I deleted the game data, re-installed and have been OK since then. It seems like there have been more issues on the 360. This is the way I look at it... this thread so far has had about 5,300 views, while the impressions thread has had over 70,000 views. IMO, this seems like an isolated issue (by isolated I mean less than 15% of users seem to be having issues), because if the freezing was rampant, this thread would have ALOT more views. I'm not saying it's OK for a company to release a game that freezes, I'm merely suggesting the problem isn't as common as some are making it out to be.

Just replayed the game that froze on me last night and it worked fine. Last night was the first freeze I had in probably 40 games or so and hope it was a isolated incident. Over the years occasionaly that kind of stuff happens once in a great while so i 'm not to concerned just thought it seemed weird that it happened after I downloaded rosters.

Did you update? If so, which dynamic update are you using? Latest update as of December 23.
What teams were you using at the time of the freeze? Valparaiso(me) vs Butler (cpu)
Did you call a timeout? no
Autosubs on/off? off
If not during gameplay, which screen were you on when the game froze?
Any other information you can think of that would be relevant to helping find the source.
3 minutes to go in the first half right after commiting a turn over.

For those that are experiencing freezing issues, is it all the time or just every once in awhile? I'm thinking about getting this game with my x-mas money, but if it's unplayable due to freezing then I won't even bother.

On PS3 I've only had it freeze twice whilst in the Dynasty menu. If you use the "press start during timeouts" work around, I think you will be fine.
