Yet next year, Shaq will probably end up back in the conference finals, while Kobe will miss the playoffs once again .

getting ti the ECF, losing in 7 games to the defending champs, playing hurt and still getting 27 points, 9 rebs, and 3 blks> not making the playoffs

It speaks volumes that fans of team take joy in that fact that they lost by decsion instead of knock out. I mean the only good thing about your season is that Shaq didn' win a championship though he did make it to the ECF game 7 and your star player (Kobe) that you plan to build around is NBA's version of HIV cause nobody wants be next to him. I mean you have undrafted rookies blasting him. You didn't even get that high of a pick in a weak draft as far as big men so what will you do for a encore hope that Shaq dies during the offseason so you will feel better that botched a easy resign of a dyansty and nobody really wants to come and play

I'm just gonna answer the question and run before folks come at me. Shaq didn't deliver what he said he would to the people of Miami. I'm happy that Shaq didn't win because he constantly took shots at LA, both the city and the team. I'm sad for the people of Miami because right now they're in a tough position as far as improving their team. I'm glad that they have a future superstar in Dwayne Wade. There. That was easy.

So I guess it's better for you to be happy the Lakers didn't make the playoffs because you don't like Kobe as a person than for Lakers fans to be happy the Heat didn't make it to the Finals.............

That is not general knowledge. He did say he'd bring a championship to Miami, but he said nothing of THIS YEAR.

Wrong Wrong Wrong I have no issue with Kobe...I feel sorry for him..he is not comfortable in his own skin and has never felt like he belonged any where. That is pretty depressing.

I just find it funny that as a franchise it looks like a rough road ahead and for right now the only joy you have is that Shaq didn't win a ring. Its not that simple...

When in this position last year the Lakers blinked and made a move that was bad...and now you can only hope that Shaq judt doesn't work out like you hoped he would.

Is that all you got? You just posted that. Hoping that he just goes away and that will make it all better? What will the Lakers be doing in the mean time? How many ships will brought home by Lakers....? A even better question will the Lakers even be a Playoff team next year?

If you would go back and read, I posted that for somebody else, not him. He said the same thing as the other guy "Shaq didn't guarantee a Ship this year yada yadda yaddda" And that's my response to that remark. This was his best chance.

1. The Lakers made the trade to rebuild for the future, the Heat made the trade to win now..........The Lakers are in good shape, especially with the expiring contracts coming off the books after next year. The Heat are gonna be in worse shape if and when they give Shaq the extension they promised him.

2. I don't know and you don't know either. What kind of question is that? What I do know is that I have faith in the Lakers organization, an organization that has PROVEN that they can build Championship teams.....can you say the same for Miami......

3. How can I answer that now, before the draft, before free agency, before I know what trades/players the Lakers are gonna make/acquire. Before I know who their Coach is going to be..... Get real.

Im asking you this as your a Heat/Shaq fan I presume. Honestly, how many rings do you think Shaq will get from now on?

With that being said, if you wanna talk about the Lakers...

Lakers' future in the long run > Heat's future in the long run

You say can't answer those question but you are Ms Cleo about what Shaq's future. I don't get it...it is your hope or your guess that Shaq's best chance was this year but that is not true they could make moves in free agency and no one knows for sure what deal the Heat and Shaq are making its all rumors.

How many rings for Shaq at least 1....That being said I have no issue again with the Lakers or Kobe I just find blind hate funny. People are so mad @ Shaq when they should be looking at the front office.

Just as gin said there are many questions that cant be answered yet about the Lakers so how can you be so sure that the future is soooo much brighter for the Lakers.
