If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

I agree. I hate Hornets for how they did us in NC, but they will have an exciting team next year. My aunt wants me to go to LSU for college, she better give me some Hornets tickets.-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist

Here's a great sportsline article on the summer leagues. Sounds like Gerald Green is shaping up pretty well.Texas Tech, Red Sox, FC Dallas and Reading supporterComment

The Knicks received erratic play from top pick Channing Frye, who despite showing a nice offensive game and strong post moves, struggled defensively. Fortunately, their other draft choices made the organization smile. Point guard Nate Robinson was exceptional, leading the team in scoring and assists. David Lee, the final pick of the first round, hit nine of his last 10 shots and looks like a legitimate player.

Maybe the fact that they're so young has to do with it... but I don't see Portland making the playoffs this year.
Edit: Gerald Green's dunk on the no-name on the Clippers was DISGUISTING

The Cavs summer is going well although Luke Jackson is shooting pretty poorly (around 35% last I checked). Lucas Jr. has moved on and Blake Stepp can't check anybody so it doesn't look like our summer will yield any PG help.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

It's just the summer leagues, but off a missed layup by David Lee, Nate Robinson had a one-hand put back dunk.Just cupped it & banged it.
He was called for an Offensive Foul for pushing off with his left hand but this kid has some incredible hops.Comment

Re: Anyone Noticing Summer League
That's Ronnie Fields all over again. I hope guys like that get a chance. Ronnie plays in the CBA and dominates, yet he can't get a chance. The only knock on Ronnie is his ballhandling... which has improved every year. I hope Vonnie Wafer can do what Ronnie could not, just get a chance. I guess honestly Ronnie isn't that much of a shooter but a slasher so perhaps the comparison isn't just.
Originally posted by mrs. carrabai hope vonnie wafer is getting a serious look from mitch and co. scored 29 points saturday. from the game i watched, in warmups he was doing windmills and between the leg dunks. pretty impressive for a guy whos probably no taller than 6'4. he's a shooter, but lack of ballhandling might be his downfall."Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment

Originally posted by Bad_IntentionsAnother thing I forgot to mention Sean May's jumper, just as good as advertised. I had read a couple different places where BB and others were surprised at how well May hits the 17 foot jumper. He was never asked to step out that far at UNC b/c he'd always play center and was their primary rebounder, but they say he can hit that 17 footer with regularity.Comment

Originally posted by HMcCoyOyediji looks like he might make the team. His rebounding has been huge.
He was on the team with Brett Nelson, Teddy Dupay, and a few very short appearances by "White Chocolate". Oyedeji was very unimpressive.
Don' get too excited about the guy. He's a hustler, but I bet he gets VERY limited minutes.
