He plays defense and has a good offensive set of moves. I'm impressed on the real. Ya'll will see how nice he's fitting in as the season starts hopefully. Oh, I'm eager to see the rosters become official already. Can't wait....

Excuse me? You have a problem homey or something? Smart comments without any sense behind it don't really get respect from me....

Knicks suck plain and simple, they won't win they have the biggest cancer in the NBA on their team, one Mr. Stephon "don't tell me to pass" Marbury.

^That's one of the most over-rated things people say. Marbury isn't a pure PG or a past first PG by any stretch, but he's in no way a ball-hog. Personally, I think he's one of the best, if not the best, players at balencing the role of scoring and getting other involved.

Him mkaing that comment that he was the 2nd best PG was silly, but offenviely, he's one of the best in the league.

Of course, my preference would be in a point guard that can see the game from a fantastic angle. Jason Kidd. Stephon is nice though on the real. Won't deny that. It does also depend who's on your team. A lot of players ballhog cause the people on their team aren't into the game or stepping up as well. happens all the time....

              Re: Curry Traded to Knicks!

Oh look what I came across... Any of you Knick Fans remember this thread? Do you remember how you all were praising Eddy Curry? Hmm.. Seems to me that the Bulls have gotten the better of the trade. Sweetney is doing very well, except for the early foul trouble. He has become more aggressive downlow, and is now our starting center. Chandler does 10x better coming off the bench, and our rotation of:

              Duhon
              Hinrich
              Deng
              Nocioni
              Sweetney

is doing farely well for such a small lineup.

Anyways, I promise all you bitter Knick fans that I'll be back Mid-December. Lets look at the stats shall we?

              2005-2006 NBA Standings

              Chicago - 11 wins 10 losses
New York - 6 wins 15 loses (3rd worst record, behind Toronto and Atlanta )

              Player Stats

Eddy Curry - 13 PPG, 5.9 RPG, in 24.7 MPG
Michael Sweetney - 11.3 PPG, 6.6 RPG in 23.5 MPG

Very similar, but trading away Curry has actually helped the rest of the guys excel. Deng's scoring has gone up, as well as Hinrich and Nocioni.

And as I have stated in my previous posts, Curry still is the soft, no-defense, big man that he was back in Chicago. Nothing will ever change that, not even a future hall of fame coach.

Oh and to add insult to injury... Read this..

The Knick fans never gloated like this or said that they'd be world beaters when they traded for him. You're arguing with yourself.

I'm a huge Knick fan and the biggest Curry-***** on this board, even before he was a Knick.

Most Knicks fans loved Sweetney and I think I can speak for all of them when I say we are glad he is doing well in Chicago. I wish him the best of luck except for 4 games a year.

First off, unless you were the one I had conversations about this in this thread, then you wont understand. I'm not stating the Bulls or the Knicks were world beaters.

Knick fans were saying how they got the best out of the deal. Saying Curry is their future center. But records show that they are still the same scrubby team that they were the year before. No defense, no hustle, no love for the game. Its all about greed and the individual numbers that they're able to put up.

I feel sorry for Frye, coming from such a great school such as Arizona, then coming to a team that has become the laughing stock of the NBA. Even Brown admits its hard to coach such a "me" team.

Every knick fan knew Sweets was good, it was the fact that hes too small and we haven't had a real center in a long time and that we drafted Frye so that Sweets was easily replaced.

how's tim thomas doing? curry is playing pretty good imo he scores so easily and when the knicks feed him the ball they seem to win plus frye is already better then sweetny so it was good to have him going in the trade, as for the pick i believe if you guys don't get morrison, aldrige, or gay it will kill you guys cause you already got guards, and forwards stocked

Gay is considered to be a 3 in the NBA. Hes too small to play the 4. As for the draft pick, its considered as trade bait. I dont really think the Bulls would draft another young player. Expect for them to use in as trade bait the next following months. Or a draft and trade on draft day. As for Curry, if he scores so easily, why does he only score 15+ a game? And if they win everytime they pass it down to Curry, why not pass it down there to him more? I guess by looking at the record, they've only used Currys potential 6 times.

Not if a team has only 6 wins and 15 loses.
