Nash gets these guys open shots, huge open shots. He gets these assist because he finds the open man, who else really is getting it to the open man? Its all one on one, trying to make your own shot with a lot of teams. You make it sound like what he does is so simple and anybody can do it in D Antoni system...when he's out of the game, the suns play a different game.

Anyone catch the Suns game tonight? Nash is flat out nasty, if he keeps this up I don't see how you can't give him MVP again.

i think if you get any pass first point guard in that system then yea they would do the same thing... but im nto takign anything away from steve nash hes still great.

I watch the suns play almost every game, most of his dimes come from finding the open man(whihc pg's are supposed to do) but the other 75% come off those high tempo passes and quick shots.

And its obvious that when nash comes off the court they play diffeent, because they dont have a backup pg to do what he does...(pass first)

There's one thing that seperates Steve Nash and Chauncey Billups..Billups has a championship ring..
"Love me or hate me, it’s one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, my swagger. Hate my fadeaway, my hunger. Hate that I’m a veteran. A champion. Hate that. Hate it with all your heart. And hate that I’m loved, for the exact same reasons.”- Kobe Bryant

What's so hard about D'Antoni's system? Grab the rebound, push the ball up every possesion and when you do that, people will be open and you dish it out to them, or you pass it to the cutter. Any real point guard would have their assists total stacked as well if they were playing within D'Antoni's system.

Actually, Kemp hardly ever missed on his 15 foot jumper. But, with the team around him he didn't need to take very many.

We need to get you some Suns footage, man. You're only seeing what ESPN likes to show you. They dont like showing you how hard and well we work in the half-court game. It's not a "tough" system persay. Definitely not complicated, but you're making it seem like it's a peice of cake.

I don't think so. The unique thing about Nash is that he can keep his dribble for so long. I don't see other point guard driving the lane and able to hold on to their dribble.

yeah seriously...it looks easy because Nash makes it look easy. I don't see other point guards doing the samething

Brevin Knight does it, Chris paul does it, Jose calderon does it but he just makes bad decisions.

But like you said, not many pg's do it in the nba, because there arent that many pass first point guards. thats why nash is so good.

LeBron is putting up gaudy numbers, but he still can't lift this team past its injuries. What Nash has been able to do is so underrated.

                          You've been watching Calderon?

I think he's going to be a good one for us Raptors fans. He had 10 assists today and I believe no turnovers vs New York.

Umm, when you have 2 all-stars on your team and a strong supporting cast, I think you could do pretty well.

They are..but not as much as Tmac , Kobe (well pre booty bangin Kobe), Shaq, etc. They have personality. Nash really doesnt. I mean he does, but he doesnt have a personality that is the face of the NBA. Yeah hes probably what some people would LIKE to see as the face of the NBA. Hes got the good guy qualities...but the NBA isnt really looking for that. The NBA, the shoe companies, etc are looking for for something in between Nash and ummm.. say Ron Artest. One is too clean, the other is too dirty.
