What the hell am I trying to be sly about? I said nothing in my initial post or the posts afterward that canned on you Laker fans. So how am I trying to bait anybody?

I know where I stand on OS, but at least be fair. Instead, I'm getting baited in the same post that is telling me to stop baiting people, lol.

Wow, this thread is going no where.

I think that Bynum, like others have said, was going on adrenaline when he bumped into Shaq. He was just trying to get back and body him up. I got it DVR'd at home, so I'll go back and check again later. To me tho, it didn't seem like he was doing anything intentional, or would even want to do anything like that. Bynum even said that Shaq is one of his favorite players. To be able to get a shot up and in on the Diesel! Man, that must be a great feeling!! The kid is barely 18. How would you feel if you did that at that age, on your fav player?

Anyhow. Great win by the Lakers. Good gesture by Shaq and Kobe.

      Game on!

I'm hating? Are you kidding me? Look, I know you Laker fans ar................nevermind.

That is the line I consider to be bating. Dont even bother to argue because its clear what you were trying to do.

And I was being fair thats why I warned both of you.

Do you guys think the league will take action against Shaq for his elbow on Andrew Bynum? I would think that he would get at least a one game suspension for what he did.

it was the neck/chest area. had bynum been slumped over or shorter, he woulda got hit square in the face. i've never seen shaq blatantly forearm shiver somebody since his days in LA. with the exception of the fights with barkley, and miller, shaqs kept his cool after every cheapshot or shove dished out.

LOL @ that being baiting when I didn't even say anything.

And whatever you say about being fair. All I saw was one Laker fan coming to the aid of another Laker fan...because your post clearly shows that.

But I'll stop now. When I don't even do anything wrong and I'm being threatened with a ban, then I must now become a robot poster.

As for Shaq getting suspended, I don't think it was serious enough to warrant such a thing.

LOL...u make that "robot poster" threat every three months. Ive been waiting for you to follow through on it be me and you both know it will never happen. You like the attention too much. Shoot a couple of months ago you said you wouldnt post here anymoe and would just lurk. That lasted a few weeks.

If it was just me coming to defense of another Laker fan then she wouldnt have been warned also.

Anyways, as people continue to bait as they please...let's get back to the subject.

I wonder what brought on Shaq getting advice to move from his feud with Kobe. Maybe he saw that continuing this feud was dumb or he seeked the advice because he knew he was about to play the game in L.A.

Or maybe the league stepped in

Shaq said he had a talk with Bill Russel and he asked him to sqash it, as well as reports that Pat Riley also asked him to do the same.

Yeah, I knew the part about Russell. Didn't know about the Riley thing. If those reports are true, Riles deserves some dap.

To be honest, Shaq had every right to be upset with Kobe for what he did in Colorado.

Yes it was great that he decided to squash the beef, and hopefully the media stops asking Stupid questions about their relationship (I doubt it though)

Time to move on and talk about the game and not these two guys as if the NBA revolves around those two.

Im telling you, the media really needs to find other things to do besides create false rivalries, and pass drama alone simply because they can

"I had orders from the great Bill Russell," O'Neal said. "Me and him were talking in Seattle the other day and he was telling me how rivalries should be. I asked him if he ever disliked anybody he played against, and he told me no, never, and he told me I should shake Kobe Bryant's hand and let bygones be bygones and bury the hatchet. Russell is a basketball god, especially at my position.

"Today, when I spoke to (Bryant), we spoke about something that was more important then basketball. He's having a little daughter, so I told him and his wife congratulations upon the baby. Today is a day of peace."

shaq has/had every right to be upset at his former teammate. with that being said, the way shaq handled his "revenge" was just as lame as what kobe did to him.
