I dont know how long you've been watching the NBA, but regular season means diddly squat when you got swept the year before, so no the nets would not beat the Lakers. You see, during the season, one team may have an advantage with a day off or not having to fly coast to coast, but in the playoffs, everyone is on equal footing. As great as the Spurs were this year, you can bet your fanny the nets let out a collective relief when the Lakers got bumped out by the Spurs.

The closing part of the season and the Playoffs is where the real NBA begins.
And the NBA finals begin on the 2nd round of the playoffs and the finals is just another "have mercy" or "ref, help us win' kind of game.
Honestly, in the FINALS, SA was actually planning of winning in there homecourt and reson why they give away 2 games to NJ then before shutting them down.
Cause if NJ is really that strong to win 2 games on the finals against SA's complete lineup, Kidd will not plan of leaving NJ if they are that strong. Even Kidd knows they are not prepared against the WEST best in the finals. Unless for some apparent reason Webber of Shaq will suddenly appear on the NJ roster.
