ill agree that he is in the perfect situation.. just like those 4 other starters on the pistons.. if anything, prince is underrated.

he wouldve been ideal for the olympic team.. in fact like others have previously said.. why not just send the pistons to the games?
So what are you saying, that Kobe is comparable to Prince? Kobe plays with Smush Parker, Chris Mihm, and Kwame Brown as starters. Do you really think that if Mike Miller or Andre Iguoudala were on the Pistons, they would be that much worse? Prince is clearly the worst starter on that team.

no. my point was that if he can shut down the leading scorer of the nba in a finals series, and just last week (on the posessions he did guard kobe) then how can prince be an overrated defender?

unplugging and plugging in different players has nothing to do with what my point was. prince is the worst starter on the team.. but what does that really mean? prince would be starting for the other 31 teams.. so i'd say he's a decent player. miller, iguodala, those guys would prolly do just fine on the pistons, but that has nothing to do with what i was saying.

          Wouldn't start on the Nets.

Because half of them won't go, lol. Everyone and their brother knows that Billups, Hamilton, and Ben Wallace would have been locks, and Rasheed and Prince would have at least been under consideration. But Wallace and Prince are out for sure at this point. We'll be lucky and happy to get Billups and Hamilton, imo.

he is just as valuable or "good" as RJ. Prince may never be an all star but his game is quietly great.

yea i realize the pistons wouldnt happen, it was sort of rhetorical.. point being is that, like has been pounded into the ground already: let's send a team over to compete this time.

There's no way that Prince is as good as RJ. Every aspect of RJ's game is better than Prince.

And Prince the "gay singer?" Let's see you get with Carmen Electra.

RJ is a decent defender, but not as good as Prince.

Quit hating. He has more rings than all of the Nets stars combined. And the next time RJ wants to play tough D wake me up. I'll be sleeping for a long time. Prince has shut down Kobe and T Mac in the playoffs. Name another who has done that on the game's biggest stage. You're comments are laughable.

If you watch basketball other than Pistons games and you tell me that Prince is better than RJ you are blind. And what happens every time they play against each other?

the prince/rj comparison is pretty pointless.. but to me, they are even. prince is better defensively, while RJ is better offensively. Prince is a good spot shooter, while RJ is athletic enough to guard pretty much any sg or sf.. to me it's a wash..

I don't think you can really compare Prince and RJ. One's a role player on a great team who defends and does the little things, while the other is the second scoring option on a very average team.

Who knows what RJ would do on a great team where he didn't have to score as much, and who knows that Tayshaun would do on a team that was awful and he needed to take twice as many shots a night.
