Did Anyone Think Dwayne Wade Would Be This Good??

Being from Milwaukee I saw tons of D wades games at Marquette both on t.v and in person, I knew he was good but I never thought he would be a NBA superstar. For those that watched him in college what did you think?

Nope. thought he would be a bust because coming in:

1.) I thought he had No J
2,) I thought he was too undersized...
3.) Which means I thought he didn't have a true position to play

No way I thought he'd be a 26-27 ppg scorer. Maybe more like 20 at most.

After he busted up Kentucky (didn't he have a triple double) in the tournament, I knew that he would be an all star, but not this soon.

After he busted up Kentucky (didn't he have a triple double) in the tournament, I knew that he would be an all star, but not this soon.

I know I saw him bust seroius a$$ and that was one of those games. Me and my guys would sit around and talk about him and knew he would go pro but this.....no way. He actually got better in the NBA. His game I think is the smoothest in the league. I used to say that about the former Buck Ray Allen but D Wade took that title.

I didn't even know who the kid was until he started tearin' it up in the playoffs his rookie year.

Now, he's one of my favorite players.

I'm with the guy above. When I saw him get that triple double against Kentucky in the tournament, I knew he'd be special. I didn't know exactly what special would translate into, but I knew he'd be special. And he certainly has been.

come out of no where? He is basically doin the same thing in the nba that he did in college, but just on a bigger stage.

You must not have watched the 2003 NCAA tournament when he litterally carried Marquette on his back and absolutely destroyed Kentucky.
