I have seen Wade play for the first time at the olympics 2004 and he was play so bad he could hit lay ups with no one defending him. But The last 2 years he must have worked his game into another level he is so quick and balanced in my mind is among the lebrons and kobe if not better.

Not to jump off the Wade subject but since I started this thread I started thinking of another player I had no idea would be a star. Michael Redd watching him in Ohio State I never thought he would be this good. Watching him play for our Bucks he is that good. So what about him.....a sleeper suprise???H.O.V.AComment

Originally posted by nowitzki41I did go to see a couple of his high school games when he played my alma mater Argo Community High School. He was good then and good at Marquette. However, there was no way I thought he would be this damn good. He's a flat out stud and playing with Shaq can only help his game.
Richards also had produced 2-3 NFL Players that I went to school with, but their not playing no longer.
Dwayne Goodrich - He was on the Cowboys for 2-3 years and they released him soon after he got injured and into some traffic trouble. The idiot was involved in a hit and run incident that caused him to get into big trouble with the law and the team.
Demetrious Smith - He played up in Michigan for college and made it to New Orleans Saints. He eventually got hurt so it cut his career short.Comment

Wade is the truth. Redd gets shut down by Kobe everytime they play.Comment

Re: Did Anyone Think Dwayne Wade Would Be This Good??
Never thought he'd be this good. I heard so much hype about Lebron and Lebron. I still think Lebron is about where the hype is pushing him. I heard a lot about Carmelo where he wasn't getting the respect he deserved cause he is a great player. Melo is a great player but could work on his game a little more. Wade?? That kat can ball. Everytime I see him play, my heart flutters a bit. Only a few players use to do that for me. Michael, Magic, Kobe, Garnett, Wade. Basically all I can think of. Wade seriously has exceeded all those in his class. He is with Shaq so I will be anticipating his gameplay when he's "alone" in the game. Hopefully whoever they have in Miami post-Shaq will help compliment Wade into becoming even better. That boy can ball.......Comment

Re: Did Anyone Think Dwayne Wade Would Be This Good??
As a Heat fan, when they drafted him I was hoping for the best. Drafts are an inexact science so you never really know what you are going to get. Everyone looks like a player on draft night when you see the highlights. I knew a little about him from his NCAA tourney run but that was it. I never thought the heat would get a player who could be arguably one of the 5-10 players in the league. I really enjoy watching the guy play the game. He seems to be a great person as well as a great player who plays the game "the right way" as larry brown would say. Yes he gets his numbers but he makes the rest of his team better as well. The Heat struck gold when they drafted him and I am very glad he is a member of your Miami Heat.Comment

I thought he'd be a role player.
I had no clue he was as athletic as he is. I also underestimated his heart/determination/work ethic as well apparently."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
