I didn't like Wade, but he's starting to grow on me. I still think he should stay under control a little better, and not force so much stuff. He's a heck of a player though.

come out of no where? He is basically doin the same thing in the nba that he did in college, but just on a bigger stage.

Well his triple double against Kentucky in the regional finals was his big highlight college moment. Until then he was good, but not spectacular. I watched alot of his games too living in Wisconsin and I never saw the game I am seeing today. He was tough always getting banged around as we see now, just not as explosive as he is today. It's been a while though, but I don't remember it. Now he is as sik as they come in the NBA. Unreal how explosive he has become in attacking the rim.

It's funny how some players games evolve one way or the other from college to the pros. Bobby Simmons was a PF at Depaul and couldn't even dribble the ball, nor did he want to. Now he is a SG/SF and he has better handles, doesn't come close to resembling his college self.

he was my favorite player from his draft, because I thought his name was cool. I didnt think he would be a superstar though.

I never thought Shaq would end up in Miami either...but seriously...Wade seems to have a very good work ethic...hes maximized his potential...and hes only going to get better...Hes just a case of alot of talent...plus alot of practice.

You can tell he has worked on his jumper...because he couldnt shoot worth a lick his 1st year...but also he didnt play with Shaq...I mean all the credit does not go to shaq but some of it has to...look @ everyone else who is playing with the Heat this year(who are new)...Jason Williams...James Posey...both having career years...but I cant call it...he is a superstar tho...Shaq or no Shaq

I always thought he would be an all-star BUT not this soon. I also believed that his max potenial was an all-star BUT already in his 3rd year he's elevated to SUPERSTAR status.

Being from Milwaukee I saw tons of D wades games at Marquette both on t.v and in person, I knew he was good but I never thought he would be a NBA superstar. For those that watched him in college what did you think?

My brothers and I never thought he would get this far. We went to Harold L. Richards High School w/ him and my youngest brother was on the same basketball team at Richards w/ Wade. My brother teases sometimes that he was better than Wade in HS. Were happy for him.

You must not have watched the 2003 NCAA tournament when he litterally carried Marquette on his back and absolutely destroyed Kentucky.

That's what I mean. Before the tournament, I hadn't even heard of the guy.

I got to see him beat my team a couple of times while he was at Marquette. I never thought he would be an offensive star, but his defense was a clear indication that he worked his butt off.

Like most, I figured he would be a good player, but never a true star. I like him, hope he continues to be a great player.

I did go to see a couple of his high school games when he played my alma mater Argo Community High School. He was good then and good at Marquette. However, there was no way I thought he would be this damn good. He's a flat out stud and playing with Shaq can only help his game.

I saw him a lot because I go to a school that used to be C-USA (they were CUSA when Wade was there).. I never thought he would be like he is today. 6'4 athletes with decent, not great jumpshots.. guys like that grow on trees. I'm still not sure how much of it is just having Shaq there and how much is Wade just being insanely good.. but he's exceeded expectations by far.
