Time to cut this last game off. The Grizzlies are still a joke. I mean, defense is so lacking in this league. I'm not hating on the Mavs but dang, they're just mowing through them bears. Gasol is overrated. I mean, dang, the stupid shots he's been taking just don't make sense. Fratello needs to sit him down and re-evaluate his post game cause it seems so absense tonight.

Dampier and Diop just owned Gasol tonight. Gasol did his thing though when the game didnt matter.

My boy Marquise healthy and ready for the playoffs. Tonight showed why he's my favorite Mavs player. The kid is just flatout smooth he just seems to always stay hurt.

But like Avery said keeping this team intact for another year helps them in this years post season. Dampier, Terry and Howard knows what to expect more often now in close games. Avery prepared Dirk all regular season for matchups he would face in the post season and BAM 31 points right off the bat.

But overall the Mavs just need to dispose Memphis within 4-5 games, stay healthy all series and get ready for a war with San Antonio.

The best game yesterday was the pacers and nets. This looks like it will be the most competitive series in the first round.

If pacers can pull of another win tommorow night, its good-bye nets! No one gave the pacers a chance, and ESPN picked across the board the pacers going down, most said in 4 games. No one ever gives credit to these guys, even though they have fought through 2 years of hardship that really no other team has endured. They have made the playoffs 9 straight years, so they know what they are doing when it comes playoff time.

Before the series the started I thought that the Pacers would probably win based on the fact that they have no one the match up with O'neil. Plus the Pacers have alot of playoff experience and guys that have played in big games. With that being said it is only one game, but would not be surprised if the Pacers win the series in 5 games.

Does anyone else think it was a huge mistake to change the first round from 5 to 7 games? I know its more $$ to add more games but the first round has been a lot less interesting since they changed it. I think a lot of people probably start watching around game 3 where as they used to be more likely to watch at the outset.

I just hope the bulls can keep it close and competitive, pull out a couple of home wins, make the series intresting. Nuggetts- clippers game doesnt interest me in the least bit for some reason.

You know what, I'm kind of liking it a bit. Teams like my Bulls won't look that bad cause they could at least pull out 1-2 wins. If it was a best of 5, after three, wouldn't be nothing else. It also is a little strategic for teams when they go to that next round cause it wears you down a bit. Can't over do it and definitely can't get hurt. I really like it.

And I could definitely care less about the Clippers/Nuggets battle cause that's almost like a waste of time. Nugs ain't getting past cause they have too many questions within their chemistry. I mean, Kenyon is bound to be traded cause they have Camby. Plus the Nugs are a lot shallower than the Clippers it would seem. Neither team has a super tight player that keeps your attention. After my Bulls play a hell of a game tonight, I'm gone to 2K6 it or head to bed.

Nice. I love the artest is already causing trouble. Wait till the kings see what he has in store for them. He is useless when it comes down to crunch time, and is about a bad a teammate there has ever been. Good Luck with him boys, your going to need it

I'm not very surprised by this. I felt coming into the playoffs that the Nets were ripe for the picking, and I was really hoping the Bulls would get the 6 seed so we could play 'em. I know Chicago could've beaten the Nets in 6 games.
