The video never showed me where Dirk's right hand is. The picture pointing out (was even circled in red) was the evidence. It just so happen to be in Salvatore's view. Whether you are halfcourt or in the bathroom, if you see the crime you can either pretend to be blind or you call it out if you are a police officer. Dirk should know better, that shot ain't gonna go in whether he touch him or not. Remember, we are in the era of "you touch him, you foul him". He already don't have a control over the ball after Harris attempt to grab his arms.

and that is exactly what dirk did, touch him. should that warrant a foul call? There is contact on every play but are there fouls call on every play? F it. It's moot. I'm tired of talking about it. Go Mavs!

In todays NBA, it is. That is why I love the old school NBA. I would rather have DAL duke it out against MIA ala' old school style. That way, we will really see what Wade is really made of and if DAL is truly a "mean machine" every one is talking about.

...and Sarah, that's the thing. The officials have allowed Miami to play physical, but the Mavs are not. Haslem and Posey have their hands all over Dirk. I admit, Dirk is a bit at fault too for not going to the basket.

Are you referring to this series or the entire playoffs?

Dirk is not a physical player (I did not say he is soft). If you have a PF or a SF that can run with him all over the court, and also tall enough to affect his range, he will be out of his comfort zone. But look at it like this, DAL has 3 players to shut Shaq up, and MIA has 2 players to rough Dirk also. The problem now is, Wade is not sick anymore like he claims in the first two games and he is one of the best in this business. Kerr now claim he is on par up there with Kobe, and DAL will now have to stop thinking about Shaq. He is not a threat and never was as everyone expects. MIA is not a team where Dirk can drive to the basket as simple as trying to get a touch foul. Trust me, he won't have much for game 7 with Zo and Shaq taking turns in the middle. If he will start doing that, MIA has 12 fouls to give (Shaq and Zo) to make sure Dirk will be hobbling in game 7. Haslem is not Bruce Bowen, and is more physical. Between Harris, Terry and Howard, Wade will have the advantage because he can get superstar calls. Those three can't. I accept the fact that the NBA is becoming a referee dominated organization, but I still beleive DAL can win this series. Heck they will win in Game 6 tonight. I am confident on it, my take personally.

^If that was true, why did Dirk do so well against Bruce Bowen?

I agree he's not physical and all, but I think he reached the point where very few players affect his offensive game. Its up to him to be agressive and step his game up...

Yawn. How many dudes did the Spurs and Suns run at him. There's probably only one valid example of what you're saying and people will always mention T-Mac.

Id be curious to see if Dirk could do the same thing to Tmac that he did to Marion and Bowen. Both Marion/Bowen are better defenders, but Tmac's abilities/strengths matchup better against Dirk.

Marion or Bowen is not as rough or as intimidating physically as Haslem. Niether PHX or SA has the player to alternate watching Dirk with almost the same intensity and roughness. MIA has Haslem and Posey to take turns on Dirk. SA only has Bowen, and still Dirk could find his range over him with his height advantage. PHX has the right people to defend Dirk from Marion to Diaw. But without Amare, those guys are tied watching the low post. But when Amare comes back, Marion and Diaw will take turns on him that is why I am confident that PHX will gave Dirk problems they now have with MIA next time they meet again with Amare in the playoffs. It doesn't matter how many dudes you run at Dirk, if your dudes can't defend him, it is useless.
