Its a toss up between Darius Miles and Eddy Curry. Both of them high draft picks outta high school. Both of them sorely underachieving.

Kwame without a doubt. Has the body of a player that should dominate the league, and the skill sets.

There is a difference between underachieving and just sucking.

Kwame Brown and Kandiman, suck. Eddy Curry, is an underachiever.

          Exactly.

Brown and Kandi man dont have the skills that someone like Curry has.

Though to Curry's credit, he's put up some decent games so far this year.

I gotta go with Eddy Curry. The guy has had some good games but he could be so much better than he is. Last night was a terrible game. He was in foul trouble all night, just like last year. I think Curry is just to lazy on the defensive end. He only rebounds when he wants to.

For some reason Darius Miles name came to me first. I sure the are more people deserving of the claim though. How about Jay Williams?

His motorcycle accident did him in.

Same with DeJuan Wagner and his illness stunting his career.

The only difference between KG and Tim Thomas is heart and attitude.

Hell, one could maybe make the argument Thomas has a superior skill set to KG, but it is his heart and attitude that prevented him from becoming what he should be.

                            Absolutely.

Tim Thomas is a better long range shooter than KG. It's simply disgusting as to what he refused to become as a pro.

                            The rebounding is effort.
                            The block shots are effort.

                            The man is a waste.

When Tim Thomas was in high school, people would drool at the thoughts of what he could become.

Exactly, Milw paid him the big Bucks, no pun intended, and he just never materilized after that. His stock rose in the 2001 playoffs before his big contract.

Another one in my heyday(teenage years) was Kent Bensen. He came from the Indy championship team of Scott May,(Sean May's dad), Quinn Buckner and Bob Wilkerson.

Kareem hit Bensen with an overhand right to the head on opening night and Benson was never the same. I think he was the 1st pick in the draft.

Don't go overboard now, Thomas isn't the athlete that KG is, even when he was younger, and he doesn't have his range either (physical range, not shooting range). Though, even at Villanova he preferred to play outside rather than inside, so who knows what he could have done if he had worked more on his game. I still think Miles is a closer physical comparison to KG, and is the biggest waste/misuse of talent that comes to mind.
