It took beating the Spurs for the Mavs to get over the hump and the Spurs own Nash. That hasnt changed since Nash got to Phoenix. We will see if he can finally get over that hump. I tend to think that the Spurs will remain ownership of Nash but we will see.
Dallas would have a better chance beating the Spurs than the Warriors. It was bad luck. The Mavs ran into the perfect storm and had no answer for them. but the Warriors are the better team regardless. congrats to the Warriors and their fans, its been a long time coming. Their last playoff win was in '91 i think. got to tip your hat to them. they played their as*es off and really schooled Dallas.Last edited by ZB9; 05-03-2007, 11:51 PM.Comment

Yup, I'm a sore loser. I think it's funny that you guys think you're playing the same Mavericks that won 67 games. I never said that Dampier would win us the series, so you can stop putting words in my mouth. Dampier would have changed the series, because then there would be someone else that could have kept the Warriors from getting to the basket with ease. The lack of defense lost the Mavericks this series, and more D would have been provided with Dampier being able to provide some backup for Diop.Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I like the Mavs...but they need to blow up this whole team.
I am serious.
The melt down v. The Heat was bad...and now this.
I just can't see this group of guys getting over it.
Avery has been exposed...big time...as a coach when the pressure is on. Riley and Nellie both have schooled him.
Dirk really needs to be the second guy on a great game.
Terry...wow...this guy just has no game left. He's a terrible PG and, when he loses his shot, he's got nothing to depend on.
Blow them up.Comment

I know the Suns want to play Golden State because it will be so easy for them. If they get by San Antonio it is going to be a cake walk.Comment

You guys just don't get it. You're stuck on the same responses to try and make yourselves look better. You beat a team playing the worse stretch in probably the last two seasons, yet you try to make it seem like they're coming off of a 20 game winning streak. This IS NOT the Mavericks at their best, get it through your thick skulls. Yes, you kicked our asses, but that doesn't mean you beat us at our best.Fan of....
