Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
You guys just don't get it. You're stuck on the same responses to try and make yourselves look better. You beat a team playing the worse stretch in probably the last two seasons, yet you try to make it seem like they're coming off of a 20 game winning streak. This IS NOT the Mavericks at their best, get it through your thick skulls. Yes, you kicked our asses, but that doesn't mean you beat us at our best.
somebody go ask dirk if they "gave away" this series too.Comment

How bad does Cuban look?
"Some people are afraid to lose," Cuban said. "You can't be afraid to lose if you're going to be a winner. You see it in business all the time. No balls, no babies, right? You've got to go for it. I don't think Nellie's got that attitude and that was a conflict between us."
Cuban was trying hard to spin some pressure back on Nelson, who has been living large as the eighth seed against these Mavericks with a championship-or-bust mandate on the season. "…
Whatever happens, (this series in the future) changes him from the underdog to the favorite in a lot of respects. And then all of the expectations change," Cuban said. "You just can't be in hiding. It couldn't happen to a better guy. Now the entire (Bay Area) is going to think he's got to win 60 games and contend for a championship every year. It will be fun to watch."
Someday maybe, but for now the Mavericks must find a way to survive Oracle Arena in Oakland, theComment

na man. they are going to get schooled by the Jazz or Rockets. Nellie didnt build either of those teams' roster, develop their star, and discover their coach. The Warriors are better than the Mavs but they also had the perfect matchup. i would be suprised to see the Warriors win more than one game against either of the teams they will face, because both the Rockets and the Jazz are better than the Warriors.Comment

I like the Mavs...but they need to blow up this whole team.
I am serious.
The melt down v. The Heat was bad...and now this.
I just can't see this group of guys getting over it.
Avery has been exposed...big time...as a coach when the pressure is on. Riley and Nellie both have schooled him.
Dirk really needs to be the second guy on a great game.
Terry...wow...this guy just has no game left. He's a terrible PG and, when he loses his shot, he's got nothing to depend on.
Blow them up.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Damps is no stud, but Dirk getting molested as the defensive anchor is probably the tipping point for this series...aside from Angels in the Outfield guiding some of GS's freakin' shots. No excuses for Nowitzki though, he looks like pure trash.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment
