If he feels he has to fight for calls before going into the locker room and then still be fighting over the same call coming out of it, that tells me he thinks he needs all the help his team can get. I can't help but wonder if all this posturing doesn't inspire too much confidence in his players. Objecting to calls is one thing and it's needed to let your players know you're fighting for them, but objecting to calls for an extended period of time seems to push things into the realm of a lack of confidence in the team.
Flopping can have a coach go crazy.

Every time Duncan goes up, he purposely tries to get tangled up. It looks sooo fake, you can really tell he trying too hard. That probably won't work for him the rest of the series because, if you noticed, Amare stopped trying to block his shot. He just stands there with his hands up letting Duncan look like an idiot.

    Ginobili does the same thing.

Parker acts as though he ways -100lbs.

And I'm pretty sure we've already discussed Bowen's defense before.

I don't understand why anyone likes watching the Spurs play.

Every player I see tries to do that. It's called trying to draw a foul. What's your point?

Besides 80% of the leauge would have reacted the way Parker did if they were in his shoes. ie. Baron Davis in Dallas when Jasoy Terry put him on the floor.

mmmkay, you act as if he meant to headbutt Nash. It was an accidnet, plain and simple.

Also I am not saying Tony was in any serious pain, he was trying to induce a foul on Nash, since Steve was the defender. Tony was making a move with his head down and felt contact, he did not see what Nash was doing or where he hit him, so he was trying to sell that they bumped heads and it should be a block on Nash.

And if Tony was successfull that would not be the first time Nash had been cut on a play and been whistled up for the foul. Back in the 90's when Nash was playing for team Canada one of the greek players headbutt Nash and cut his lip and Nash was called for a block.

I am not saying Tony is in the right, because hes not. But alot of players in the NBA would do the same thing that Tony did. Don't let your blind hatred for a player blind your judegment.

It's interesting to hear Suns fans complain about the officials. It sounds a lot like Spurs fans complaining about the officials when they were trying to get past the Lakers five-six years ago.

Say what you will about flopping, but teams that have been there before have the mental fortitude to play through bad officiating. Duncan was repeatedly mugged during the Denver series (not that Charles is always right, but Barkley stated as much as well) and Popovich refused to do the same kinds of things D'Antoni did yesterday. It would have been justifiable for the guy to be giving it to the refs as Nene repeatedly bodied into Duncan, but he remained calm. It seems he believes in his team in a way that I don't think D'Antoni does. As long as D'Antoni is jumping up and down on the sidelines like he was yesterday, I don't think he's selling his team on the fact that they can win the series.

LMAO @ the Suns fans verbally assaulting Mavs fans for complaining about the officials last year and now they are feeling the same way.

Doesn't feel great does it guys?

I'm not blaming the officiating on the loss, we couldn't grab a rebound, finish on offense (see Amare: 31% v 58%) or stop Parker. The Duncan call was clearly BS but did it cost us the game? No. Also, I don't see nothing wrong with a coach getting upset on something that was so obvious.

Some of you are really looking too far into things. Let's start game 2.

You don't be a fool. I'm far from a ***** of the Spurs. I actually like the team and most of the players on the team.

As much of a Suns fan I am, I have to say the Spur WILL win in 4 games. You can blame the officials for some of it, but the honest truth is they are just better than us.

That doesn't seem like much of a fan if you think the Suns are going to get swept.

It being honest, I cheer them on but I can see we dont have enough dept to keep with the Spurs. Playing six or seven guys as much as the Suns do, it just to hard.

I can't see the Suns getting swept. I think their are just to many solid players on that team and I just can't see them not winning atleast one game.
