7 footers depend on guards getting them the ball and hitting open shots. They cant even get the ball to Dirk often enough or in the right spots.

The guy is 7 feet tall. Him getting double teamed by people 6'7 or 6'8 really shouldn't make a difference. And he's supposed to be a star. Every star get's double and triple teamed but he has an actual advantage since he's so tall but he doesn't even look like he wants to be there.

You obviously never played b-ball if you think getting double teamed even by someone smaller than you doesn't make a difference.

Cmon to fair to Dirk he's not built to drive around smaller quicker guys, do you even watch basketball? Golden State played Dirk perfectly, that's all that can be said they had the perfect game plan.

c'mon, quit making excuses. Is Nellie responsible for all the freaking jumpers they've reverted to in this series? Is he responsible for them playing virtually no defense on the perimeter? You think GSW hits all those threes if the shots are contested? Quit using Nellie as an excuse. Bottom line, this is a flawed team and something needs to be done. We still suck defensively and still rely too much on the jumpshot. I don't know where we go from here.

Nellie deserves a lot of credit. He didnt get enough credit with Dallas (that is where the karma comes in imo), and he isnt going to get enough credit for the victory by the Warriors.

The guy has the second most wins in NBA history. He is a great coach, but is somehow overlooked. This series was all Nellie. He owned it.
