DAL already did that and look what happen to them. But then again Amare is not Dirk.

Look what happened to them? Ummm, the season after they changed pieces...they BEAT the Spurs in the WCF's in SA, game 7.

Their changes got them past the Spurs.

Dirk came up huge in that game 7 btw.

Two seasons on, they went out to Golden State. That's got nothing to do with what happened the year after the changes. They beat the Spurs and made the finals.

I am sure Phoenix would move a piece or two if someone guaranteed they'd make the 2008 NBA Finals.

It's funny how people act like the style of play is what plagues Phoenix against San Antonio. The issues are just little things that can be worked on. The whole system is not shut down.

The loss DAL suffered had something to do with the changes they made. Choosing not to sign Nash in favor of bringing in a big body to guard the low post to slow Duncan down proved to be a costly move. If they had kept the team Nelson had, they would have never fallen to GS this year and PHX would have not become a huge obstacle of DAL. Now DAL have two obstacle in thier way to the finals. Besides if I remember correctly, Duncan was running with one leg last year. This year, Duncan is running in two legs for the first time in quite a while.

i actually agree - phoenix could definitely beat the spurs playing this way. the problem isn't the system, it's the players they have. if you take out nash the average iq on that team is like 70.

I was pointing out the fact that Suns fans, some of the biggest critics of Mavericks fans, are doing exactly what they condemn the Mavericks fans for, whining about the officials.
