Stoudamire screws himself(and the team) over with silly fouls, but I look forward seeing him improve in the next years.

Dallas doesn't play the style that those two teams I mentioned plays. If Dallas were half as good as the Spurs, they would've had a better chances against GSW. However, that's here nor there, my guys peaked in the regular season and when it was time to take it up a notch for the playoffs, they couldn't."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Yeah the refs are why you guys lose! lol OK any ways you will be very lucky to win here. It just doesn't happen. That crowd is nuts. If we win tomorrow it might be over. You guys got lucky to beat us in the 2nd game. So I think the Warriors are just playing better and will be tough to beat.Comment

LeDirk mails in an MVP-like performance. I wish Bron would stop with the constant crying about calls...those were the same hacking calls Vince wasn't getting here in C-Town. Get over it.
I'm starting to realize my dislike for the Suns might be more the fault of most teams' inability to stop them. For me, this series has been great to watch. Scrappy, well-executed, with a pretty good chess match going on between two excellent coaches. I wish more teams could make these guys play straight up...
One last thing RE: the flopping...
The new rules put an emphasis on help defense, and rotating over. Collisions are an obvious by-product, and the Spurs help D is the best in the business...meaning they will take offensive contact more often than others. Call it flopping if you want, but they realize that sliding over is gonna get them ran over sometimes, and they are prepared for it...Last edited by HMcCoy; 05-12-2007, 10:26 PM.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

ok, reposting in the playoff thread as requested.(bowen thread pst ignored) new thread locked although bowen thread still open.
to matrix
not hating, i like the suns.
i am asking what people think of the defense vs ginoboli on the last drive of his to end the 1st quarter. i think it is a valid question in view of the ongoing discussion regarding bowen putting his foot under amare.
i think bowen was wrong to do what he did.
i think pho player may have done something similar to ginoboli. i cant post the video or screen shot and asked if someone could
sorry if that confused youComment

It has got to be VERY frustrating for the Suns and their fans...they have a great team, they play amazing basketball, they are exciting, they have a two time MVP...everythings right about their team EXCEPT they simply cannot beat one team in this league four times, San Antonio.
The Spurs just know how the stop them.
Phoenix has a championship calibre team...but they'll likely exit in the second round.
They're going to have to move a piece or two / change their style a bit if they want to get past SA at some stage....Comment
