I cant understand how anyone can cheer for San Antonio, Duncan cries after every shot attempt nearly, Im not ready to call Bowen dirty but he is 99% there, half the team flops like nobodys business, ie. Ginobili, Oberto, Parker, Elson etc, funny how they are all players from another country and I personally dont think that its a coincidence either. The godfather of the flop was from another country also, Vlade Divac, he must be teaching a class to these players. Duncan grabs players to prevent rebounds, Horry tries pulling Amare down to get a cheap foul, Oberto flops to get another cheap call, I just cant figure out how anyone can root for this team.

EDIT- Explain to me how that foul wasnt on Duncan when they are so quick to give the 4th to Amare for Oberto falling down and drawing attention to himself, especially consdering Nash was a statue and Duncan went right through him?

Name one basketball player who doesn't cry after a whistle? Bowen is dirty but that's about the only thing you can say. Every team in the NBA flops, face it. Some of you guys are incredible, just watch the damn game and stop whining.

Agreed. Every team flops, San Antonio just seems to be better at it than everyone else. It really needs to be done away with somehow though. Giving technicals or something; of course the refs would screw that up too, so I don't know.

Edit: Just agreeing on the every team flops thing, btw.

I've seen it from every team, every player. From the best players(Duncan, Wade, Kobe, Shaq, etc) to the bench players.

Why does everyone complain about flopping? The players are doing whatever is necessary to win the game, and that includes flopping. It may be cheap, but it is not "cheating" by any means.

I can accept the players doing stuff like "flopping" to get the upper hand. As long as they don't take steroids or do something else that is major "cheating", then I am fine.

Edit: Also, don't tell me when you are sitting on your couch playing NBA 2k7, you don't complain when a foul is called on you. It's human nature to complain after you get a penalty called on you. At least it is when you are competitive and want to win the game.

Oh, I agree with that part as well. I guess the only part I don't agree with is the we shouldn't be complaining part, because really, it's ****ing hard not to complain about the NBA.

I cant speak for anyone else but my problem is San Antonio is known for being such a great defensive team and yet they flop more then any team I can remember. As I said earlier, I dont think it is coincidence that they have so many foreign players and seem to fall down the most, its almost as if their reputation precedes themselves and allows them to get all these close, or in some instances b.s. calls to go their way.

I've kind of realized it's a moot point. It's not going to change. The players complain about it, yet they will continue to do it because like Double Eights said, they look for any small advantage they can get.
