Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
Anyone think the NBA would ever consider reseeding the teams after the first round? I hate to see Phoenix and San Antonio face off in the second round as the # 2 and 3 seeds yet Houston/Utah gets homecourt thanks to Dallas falling to pieces. I would much rather see # 2 Phoenix get homecourt and play Golden State while SA gets homecourt as the # 3 seed and plays the winner of the Houston/Utah series. It only makes sense, San Antonio and Phoenix should both have homecourt, in large part to Dallas' collapse, but yet one team wont and the matchup everyone is looking towards will happen now instead of happening in the WCF, not to menton, doing this would allow a very entertaining, up tempo matchup between Phoenix and Golden State in the next round.Comment

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
It probably was and Im just forgetting it, I just cant stand watching a team play as hard as they do, get the # 3 seed in the playoffs and thanks to an upset not only are they not going to get homecourt but they are also stuck playing, by regular season record, the best remaining team in that conference. Im a Detroit fan so this doesnt help me any but as a fan I would much rather see Phoenix and Golden State go in the next round and SA and Houston/Utah go as well, that way SA is rewarded for doing so well in the regular season.
EDIT- I also wanted to mention, after having just heard Stern talk about how it shows what a home court can do for a team in regards to Golden State winning, I mean give them some credit Stern, they had to win in Dallas otherwise they could have won every game in Oakland and still wouldnt have won the series, it almost seemed like Stern wasnt exactly supportive of the fact that Golden State beat them and beat them bad, he wanted to find excuses for it.Last edited by The Chef; 05-04-2007, 07:54 PM.Comment

That last assist from Kidd at the end of the half was one of the most ridiculous touch passes i've seen.. better than any of the stuff that makes these guys go gaga over Nash. VC drives and kicks a pass to Kidd and the pass wasnt right at him and Kidd just uses his left hand and pushes the ball to the left to his teammate in the corner for the three. Im still trying to figure how he did it, i need to see a replay, they treated it like it was a routine play...Comment

WHAT A GAME!
I'm liking what the Raptors are doing. They've finally got it figured out. They're not rushing their shots and are playing some inspired defense at times. I truly hope they can hold on to win this game so everyone can see the fans in Toronto blow the roof off of the ACC!

I like the way Carter is playing. He's not shooting well but he's attacking and drawing fouls."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment
