The only time I was close to crying after a sporting loss was when the Bears beat the Saints in the NFCCG.Originally posted by EWRMETSMaybe the best post in OS's history. If you don't think Tony Romo is a Hall of Famer, you support al Qaeda.Comment

Yeah I only got a few hours last night....
I had a dream where I was wearing # 8 in red, and instead of seeing Bargnani streak to the baseline, he set a screen for Bosh and I easily hit the wide open player for the game winning dunk....
...but alas it was all a dream, and stuck to my face was a cover of "WordUp!" magazine...
Congratulations to the Nets and thier fans. They truly showed a young team how its done in the playoffs.
As for Sam Mitchell, 3 timeouts in the final minute of the biggest coaching game of your career and 3 times the players looked like hobos coming out of the huddle. Either learn to script an offense, or go to Indiana, or wherever. That s*it was making me sick all season and especially in playoffs.
Then I woke up.
As for Mitchell, I agree. I do not want to see Mitchell on the bench next year. I'm sure there's someone better out there. In Europe, in North America, whatever.Comment

I did support Jose over TJ in the final minutes.
When TJ came in at the end of the 3rd we were up 2 and when he was yanked we were down 8, and he was making aweful decisions.
I don't care if he had 19 points, our pg has to be trusted to make the right play not the homerun play down the stretch, and TJ was playing for the spectacular down the stretch.Comment

Brutal? News flash for you, the NBA has gone soft already. If Ben Wallace make a mistake of touching Ben Gordon with his pinky, the Zebras and horses including the public transportation ho trains will be blowing thier whistles. Not just that, the Zebras @ss are known to whistle too. Not only that, the zebras whistle sssoooo much, it is hard to tell whether it was the whistle that was heard or thier @ss make the call.Last edited by Sarah; 05-05-2007, 03:45 PM.Comment

Why would Ben Wallace be touching Ben Gordon, and why would it be a foul?Comment

Touch fouls are very common nowadays. Havn't you notice it? I was being sarcastic about my coments. What I am trying to say, is that the NBA has taken out the brutality aspect of the game by throwing technical fouls to any physical contact that they will suspect could lead to tension since that IND/ DET incident.Comment

Actually I was more questioning why Ben Wallace would be called for a foul for touching a teammate of his. :wink:Comment
