The fact that you truly believe that the Lakers lost simply because Kobe didn't get calls and Amare did is astounding and shows how little knowledge of the sport you really have. If you tried to be unbiased, you would see that the Lakers lost because they were outplayed and outclassed in every facet of the game.

No, I don't particularly care for Kobe Bryant, but the guy is an amazing offensive talent and his defense, while definitely not all-defensive team caliber (despite what the voters say), is improving yearly. With that said, there is VERY little the Lakers could've done to win this series. I don't care if your name is Kobe, Jordan, Magic, or Wilt, you are not winning anything being a one-man show.
In a 9 point game had 5 calls gone the other way the Lakers could have won.

Nowhere in my post did I say the Lakers should have/would have won had the refs been better. All I was saying that it was terribly officiated game and that it would have been nice for the Lakers to be able to determine their fate rather than putting their fate in the refs hands.

Honestly I don't see what your gripe is. Coming into the playoffs they were clearly the worst team in the West by far and I'm suprised they even won 1 game. The Suns were just too good for them and I don't even have to be biased to see that.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I'm not even trying to talk about the Lakers right now. I'm just annoyed at how bad and inconsistent the officiating was in game 5. It just annoys me that a ref can decide the outcome of a game so easily. Really I don't mind if the refs wana let the players play or wana call the game tight, what annoys me is when they're inconsistent. The Lakers game was just a perfect example of inconsistent officiating. Obviously as a Lakers fan I'm gona get pissed when Amare gets calls on little bumps and then Kobe get grabbed on the arm on the way to the basket and doesn't get the call. I can tolerate this a few times a game cuz I know the Ref will make a mistake once in a while. It becomes ridiculous when the calls favor one team throughout the whole entire game. I know the Suns are better than the Lakers and even if they won last night I wouldn't give the Lakers more than a 1 in 10 chance to win the series but I would've at least liked to see the fouls called the same way on each side in the paint.

I hate the Spurs, but I think they have more of a gripe than anyone. Can't stand Duncan but the man is getting raped out there.

Refs hate Kobe, they're all afraid he's gonna bang their wives.

Wow, Juwan jumps into Okur on a jumper knocking him down, foul is called. Okur gets up, pushes Howard and they call the tech on Howard. Unbelieveable... and there goes the lead...

16 points and 6 rebounds at half isn't bad, but we're still down 3.

Yao really needs to step up. I like the 10 points, but he needs to limit his turnovers and get his boards up a bit.

                  P.S. Millsap is KILLING us.

P.P.S. I have a feeling this thing is going seven. And I don't like T-Mac's history in games sevens...

Is someone really saying the Jason Terry is using Baron Davis to try and get back onto the court? Hilarious. I wonder what type of reaction I would get if I did that to someone every time I tried to walk by them?

If it gets close...they may just sneak it and take the series.
