The difference is in football wide receivers are supposed to get tackled. I don't recall being taught to kick people when playing basketball.

He intentionally kicked him but it's not like it's all that surprising coming from Bowen.

Hard fouls and cheap shots are not surprising in the playoffs at all. What is he complaining about? At least Dirk did not deny that physical play is not his style.

Do you actually read what you type? Cheap shots are not the norm for basketball, whether it be in the regular season or the playoffs and Bruce Bowen has grown somewhat of a labal for being a dirty player. I dont think there is anything wrong with Amare stating his opinion on it and being angry about it. Its one thing to play physical, stingy defense like Detroit plays, its another to do the things that Bowen does and thats the difference.

Kicking someone from behind in the achilles is different from a hard foul. Trying to end someone's career by being a bitch isn't something to celebrate or defend.

Are these the same two teams I saw in the first two games? It seems as if they have reversed their roles...which is a good thing of course. The Bulls are playing like they should with their backs being up against the wall. There is definitely more effort and hustle being displayed by the Bulls. I hope they can keep it up.
