Damn. San Antonio lost this series tonight. Was really wanting to see SA/Detriot go at it again.Twitter

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
if Stoudamire OR Diaw gets suspended, I officially quit watching basketball. For all the SH*T that Bruce "Beat You Down" Bowen and Oberto got away with, as well as that ridiculously dirty hit by Big Punch Bob, even CONSIDERING suspending Stoudamire or Diaw is ridiculous and shows that the league is literally playing favorites.
Honestly, I'm not surprised by Bowen being dirty, but Horry? Dude has like 5 titles and has always been known to hit clutch shots, not hit people in clutch situations. Dude really lost my respect for that garbage and honestly, I think Popovich has a lot to do with the dirty style of bball the Spurs play. I wouldn't be surprised if he encourages dirty physicality.Comment

Dammit, I'm gonna have to agree with you here. I really, really don't want to see them suspended, but the rules are the rules.Comment

How was that a dirty foul? It was a hard foul, that's about it. The only "dirty" player on the Spurs is Bowen but that's obvious. And to be honest, although it may ruin the series, if Amare and/or Diaw stepped on the court, they should be suspended. Rules are rules, you break 'em you pay for 'em.Comment

I will have to go with PHX I think.... it will hurt, but I've been waiting two years for them to win one.
Utah will have more chances than PHX.Comment

Rules say step one baby toe on the floor during a scrum, automatic 1-game suspension. Period.
Doubt it will happen, but at least Stern's spin on why they are blatantly ignoring the rules will be interesting.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Because it was just VERY ugly. We showed no heart except in the last two minutes. This game could have been over and done with much earlier but we showed no desire. Everyone sucked tonight.Comment
