As a neutral...i've got to say the Cavs were unlucky.

Sheeds winning bucket = offensive foul. He clearly pushed off.

LBJ = it's clear Rip held his arm as he drove.

Having said that...I don't think the refs should be calling those types of fouls in the last minute. "Let the players decide it" is fair enough IMO.

But the NBA gave D Wade tonnes of calls down the stretch last season in the finals...bailing him out time and time again...

So I can't understand why LeBron isn't getting the same calls?

No kidding, I can see the argument for the Lebron non call but the not the one when Verajao basically flew 5 feet away from Wallace to draw attention to himself. If Verajao had just fallen back and made it look a little more realistic, he may have gotten the call, but not when your flying 5 feet back like you just took one in the gut. Everyone will have a different stance on the Lebron non-call, Im a Pistons fan so my opinion wont carry much weight.

In all honesty, I think some of it is reputation. Dallas wasnt really known as a physical defensive team until just recently so they probably wont get some of those close calls that teams like Detroit, Chicago, San Antonio etc might get because of their reputation.

            F*** that call.

            Try 5 straight F***'n turnovers.

Of course it was a damn foul, but you can't cry about a call when you put up 16, 34, 13 and 13 pt quarters in the F***ing Eastern conference finals. Period. You can't rely on refs to win games for you.

is the nba fixed? Is someone paying somebody for wins? are the refs just anti-lebron? Or was it just something that happens, and either way we would argue?

I would be willing to bet that you could go back in the game and find numerous times where both teams could have or should have gotten a call and didnt, it works both ways, Cleveland isnt some victim while Detroit is getting everything handed to them. Im sure once it goes to Cleveland Lebron will be getting calls that he may not deserve but thats how the NBA works these days.

It's something that happens and we'd argue either way. There's no way in hell the NBA would be fixing these games so Detroit can play San Antonio in the finals. (That's not a shot at either San Antonio or Detroit)

Mike Brown sent tapes to the league office this season on how Bron gets shafted on calls. He was still top 3 in FTA's, but when you consider how often he goes to the bucket, he should have led the league, easily. Maybe he should take more dives.

                        F'it. Detroit escapes AGAIN.

                        Game 3.

BTW, somebody page Tayshaun Prince and tell him the Conference Finals have started.

                          0-8 tonight.

                          Through 2 games: 1-19, 9 points...

it almost would have been interesting if they did call that a foul especially with lebron's late game free throw shooting

Ah, I left earlier, there was a big update in Guild Wars, had to check it out. I did watch the game though.

Second game in a row Detroit fans have been criticized for criticizing their team. I'll just say this and leave it alone. I'm not one of those people who talk positively about negative things. It doesn't matter if I'm a fan or not. If I feel the team could be be doing better, I will express that opinion. If they still don't do better, I'll express my disgust. It doesn't mean I'm riding fence, or jumping off a bandwagon. All it means is that I am mentally and emotionally into the game lol.

Ugly game again. I'd like to say that the Pistons played uninspired with no energy, but that'd be a lie. Maxiell came out with a lot of energy, so did Webber. We could use some points from Prince but that's okay, he'll pick it up. You really have to give it up to the Cavs' defense. They played really well defensively. That's really why the games have been so ugly, both teams playing very good defense (of course, there is a combination of bad offense involved).

At the end there, I could see that play going either way. If the refs had chosen to call it, I couldn't have complained. There was a lot of contact (on both sides), it was like that all game and like some others have said, it was a case of the refs letting the players decide the game. Maybe they were waiting for a Jordan-esque game winner like everyone else and were just to stunned to blow the whistle when it didn't happen. Since they didn't call it, I'm definitely not gonna complain. I won't defend Rip either though, there was a lot of contact, but like I said, it was from both players. For every foul that's not called you can go back and find a lot of others that were called and shouldn't have been.

                                See you guys in Cleveland.
                                PS: You guys are great.
