Cosign... that's precisely the point that you take Dre's advice, and use the ignore feature.

Back on topic though.. the Wizards gave my Cavs a scare, which is pathetic. Hopefully we come out tomorrow and drop the hammer down, and bury them early. I definitely don't want them to squeak a win in, and force us to play unnecessary games.

As far as Kobe and the Lakers, I hope he comes out and plays the same way as he did last game. He played a facilitator role, and he got his points. Granted, they still just barely won.. but the fact remains, they won. If somehow the Lakers can win the next game, I say it goes the full 7, but the Suns will still hang on.

I love AI...but he's likely not getting out of the first round and he has a superstar in Melo AND the DPOTY next to him.

I don't even like Kobe...but man, let's be at least *slightly* fair here...

It's tough playing a badl wounded team Will.

Mentally, the Cavs know they've got this won...it's not a real series.

They'll likely play Jersey next...how do you rate their chances?

I love their chances against Jersey. granted, with the way Kidd and Carter played the other night, I don't forsee it being a cakewalk whatsoever. It really just depends on which Cavalier team shows up. If it's the aggressive, attack the whole game Cavs... then I feel we have a great shot. If it's the slow the ball down into the half court game (which we don't have) version, then it's going to be a series that the Nets could very easily walk away with.

The one thing I can take solice in, is that we have home court advantage, and NJ will have to beat us on our own court at least once to take the series. Cavs generally protect the home front, about as well as any team in the league.

Then again though, as we seen in the Miami series, even the big dogs can fall on their home court. It'll be an interesting series, as both teams matchup about as well as they can. They get the nod at PG, with Kidd over whoever we throw in there. We get the nod at C.. All of the other positions, its pretty much a wash though. Pavlovic and Hughes will be the key in that series though. It's high time for Hughes to step up and earn some of that paycheck.

I love AI too and I see good things coming next season for Nuggets..it is not enough having just one (AI) playoffs experienced guy for them to succeed this season.

I don't think Raps are done yet..the key for every Nets opponent is to hold Kidd in check. It all starts with it.

                LBJ v VC a wash?

Would be an interesting match up...likely whoever won that match up would win the series...

Honestly man, I think VC vs LBJ is a wash. Point for point, they will match one another. Combo of Sasha/Hughes vs Jefferson... wash. Gooden vs Moore... wash.

It just really will come down to which Cavaliers show up. I mean, if VC and Bron go point for point, I can live with that. If we can slow down Kidd, like Muzky says, we can take control. He is the driving force of that team. We control Kidd.. we control the series. If we let Kidd roam free, well... then, two years straight of 2nd round exits.

All around though, Carter is just as capable of LBJ of having a triple double, even a 40, 10, 10 game. Carter, in my eyes, is one of the most underrated passers in the league for a swingman. LB gets a lot of praise for getting his teammates open looks, but when Carter gets going, he's a force to be reckoned with. Now that he has shaken his playoff rust, I see a lot more games coming his way, like he had the other night.

And Muzky, I'm not saying the Raps are done yet... the same thing holds true for you all. If you can keep Kidd in check, and Bosh finds a way to be effective, then it could go back to Toronto. I don't see it happening, as I think the Nets have too much firepower... but it's going to be a fun series. One of my favorites of the first round so far. Of course, I like the VC/Tor backstory too.

BTW, CV, Tmac is taking too many crap jumpers or whatever and Im sick of watching the guy play to be honest with you.

At the same time, if the Jazz is clogging the lane when the only play being ran is the pick an roll at the top of the key, you need to make adjustments, and let some bench players play.

Everyone on this rockets team blows. They are either scared to shoot, or they just flat out suck. This is the problem with trying to play the old knick ball. As intelligent as people say JVG is, he's stubborn and gets owned by coaches who make in game changes.
He's running the same playsets he ran with Francis and Mobley and his only answers for the last 5 or 6 years is they need to play harder, more intensity. That's a cop out.

I also think its too much to have a guy create offense for the entire team, and then score everything too. That's not smart basketball and as you can see its not working.

With that, jvg will be fired if they dont make it.
