Look at how Odom is fidgeting, looks almost comedic.

And did I miss where he got hit in the head or did Kobe do that when he came to the locker room?

No one can question Lamar's toughness...

This is a guy who played like an All Star after his young son died. That's toughness.

Funny considering lakers fans refer to him as Lamar Odumb, and say he needs to yell for the ball to take more shots.

Nevermind no player in the NBA yells to get the ball passed to them, or the fact that he could be shooting 50+ percent and Kobe will take 35 shots and Lamar still gets blamed.

It's pretty pathetic. The guy is playing hurt and is really the one who gets no respect.

          So who's questioning his toughness?

Toughness and assertiveness are completely different. I hope Kobe tries to take over next game. I want him to go for 50+ and hopefully we can take the first game at home. After that he should try to get everyone else motivated and play team ball for the remainder of the series.

Oh and for the media morons who were on the air all day today saying the Suns will lose tonight because they lost a few game 2's in the past.

Can't wait for the excuses tomorrow.

Um...the Spurs won that series 4-1. Joe Johnson is NOT that special of a player that he could've made THAT big of a difference.

Believe it or not, he would have.

Joe Johnson's D on guys like Parker and Ginobili would have been invaluable considering Barbosa wasn't worth a damn back then, we didnt have Raja Bell, and Nash not being a great individual defender. In a series where Quentin Richardson was completely worthless, and Marion was off, Joe Johnson would have helped IMMENSELY.

People forget the fact that the Suns played GREAT in that series. Yes, we lost 4 to 1. But if they remember the fact that each game was VERY close, and remember the fact that the Spurs had to play COMPLETELY PERFECT basketball in those 4th quarters, and that the Suns had to COMPLETELY FALL APART in those 4th quarters.....then, well, they'd realize that the Suns could have just as easily won the game with a little help from a guy like Joe Johnson.

The Suns held significant leads in each of those games, except for Game 3 which we lost "fair and square". It came down to experience in closing out those games. We lost by 7, then 3, then 10 (that game 3), then won by 5, then lost by 6. Add to the fact that that was one of the worst officiated series I have ever watched, and you can see why some seemingly insiginficant factors could have turned the tide or at least pushed the series to 6 or 7. By the way, the scores were over 100 for the most part, so the Spurs were playing to the Suns game, not the other way around.

Closest 5 game series I have ever seen.

But that's all water under the bridge.

The whole team was in rhythm tonight! I don't know how L.A. can get up from that, what a beating. I hope we keep it going, I'm sure L.A. is going to try to bring it hard next game in L.A.

It's more to do with the WAY the Spurs play them...and the way they beat them a few weeks back.

They are about the only team in the L that seems to be able to cut down on the Suns transition and 3 ball game...

I saw a stat recently that the Suns average 25 three point shots a game...

Yet only averag 14 or 15 against the Spurs...in other words, the Spurs defend that shot very well.

Phoenix's fast break points are also way down v SA.

They just seem to play them well. A bit like Golden State seems to play well v Dallas.

On topic now, I'm lmao right now at ESPN. They go crazy saying "Shaq looks like his old, younger self" and all this bs, and now he looks 45.

This is what happens to the Lakers when Kobe does not shoot.

I wonder if "people" still want him to pass?

I still for the life of me can't understand why "people" want the best scorer on the planet to facilitate your offense.

Damn if Phoenix ain't looking like the best team in the game now.

I know it's early, and the Lakers have been in free fall for about two months, but still.
