This post is pure comedy. The kid averaged 30 a game this year. You don't average 30 a game not being able to get your own shot. His handle is what makes him so deadly. He gets to anywhere he wants on the floor and has unlimited range. I guarantee he wins a title before LeHype and supplants him as the "best player" in the league in the next 2-3 seasons.

        Re: Kevin Durant

When Durant comes of age and puts some size on those bones, he's going to be the best player in the league. He'll be able to expand his game to post up, drive, and shoot from anywhere on the court. Plus, he has no problem getting rebounds when necessary, and also has no problem shooting out of slump or deferring to a hot teammate.

He's a reminds me of a more athletic, Dirk.

Right now, he seems to have more "hunger" than Lebron. Will that change, I don't know, but watching Durant give everything in the playoffs was very encouraging to witness an old schooler like myself.

LBJ will be in his prime for at least another 5-10 years barring injury. At no time do I think KD will be a better player. That's not a knock on KD.

            Re: Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant is already better than LeBron offensively and if you don't agree then you obviously have never watched Kevin Durant play. He is unreal. Unlimited range, great ballhandling for a big man and can get to where ever he wants on the floor.

I had already stated this along time ago but I guarantee the Thunder will be in the Finals in the next 2-3 years.

              LOL.

I've seen Durant play plenty of times. He's a better shooter than LBJ and that's about it. He can't get anywhere he wants on the floor, he's simply not strong enough yet and it was evidenced in the 1st round series vs LA where he struggled all series with shot.

                Re: Kevin Durant

You're basing his WHOLE career of one series where he was the focal point of the Laker defense. Kobe only shot 40% in the series so does that mean he can't get any shot he wants either?

Durant is a better shooter, better free throw shooter, and gets to the line more often than LeBron.

KD is gonna be the focal point of every game unless it's an All-Star game. Kobe can't get any shot he wants either these days. That doesn't make him any less of a great player.

Like I said, KD is a better shooter and showed that he was fearless in attacking the rim this year.

Bro, KD is a better offensive player than LeBron. More rang, more consistent jumper, better ft shooter, etc.

Make sure you mention the fact that he was hounded by one of the best defenders of all time the whole series, or the fact that it was the first playoff experience for the whole team (besides Collison and Krstic) and that it was against the best team in the NBA the past 3 years with the 2nd greatest player ever. Can't wait until he proves me right.

Celtics beg to differ in 07-08.

with the 2nd greatest player ever.

And he only scored less than 20 a single time during the series. This is also the series in which he nearly had a 30 and 20 game, playing the SF position.

Glad to see Get Buckets is going to stay in OKC for the time being. Was starting to get kinda annoyed with the whole "Durant is coming home next year" I had to hear from people out here in DC/MD.(Not talking about Chec,KG,Cebby)
