    Re: T-Mac

KDRE I feel you defending your man from us "KOBE lovers", but damn, You can't be serious....

    But if you are...........................

In MY opinion, I am the most thoughtful, articulate, well-informed poster this site has ever had the pleasure of being visited by. The only way my posts could be considered anything but brilliant is because you troglodytes are not quite intelligent enough to comprehend what I'm writing about.......

There you go. Like T-Mac, I've given you MY assessment of my own abilities, damn what my peers think.

    Pretty [censored] stupid huh?

I actually wasn't calling you a kobe lover, but there are people that use lame excuses to try to discredit T-Macs game like he looks sleepy, or bored, or he doesn't take them out of the first round, which are really weak arguments as far as his abilities, and what he gives to the game.

i think KDRE's problem in this thread is that it's suppose to be all about Tracy McGrady. and the first post was great. but Mad came in here and brought up Kobe...and KDRE told it's all about T-Mac. but then he continued to use Kobe for the rest of his post. words of advice...if you don't want Kobe lovers to invade your T-Mac thread, leave #8's name out. because the basis of your thread is great. i love it. T-Mac is a true beast. and i love your avatar and noa's also.

i'm just sad as a Sixers fan ....because back in the '99-'00 season, we were suppose to trade Larry Hughes and a draft pick to Toronto for McGrady. this wasn't made up. it was a real thing that was almost to happen but Larry Brown changed his mind.

here's proof that the rumors were out there......

He can do all thay Kobe is doing, but people seem to forget that. That's what seperated MJ from everyone else. Noone could, and still can't do what he did. T-Mac is Kobes equal, or better, and I'd like to know why anyone can say anything diffrent.

i think 42+ppg over an 11 game span goes a long way towards saying otherwise. But anyways, TMac is a great player, just not quite as good as Kobe.

BTW T-mac too had a streak of 40+ppg. It lasted 5 games.

what r u trying to say? I'm not sure, maybe you don't think that stat is true? in the last 11 games he has 470points. 470/11 = 42.7ppg.

Ok, mad, you gotta drop the Kobe talk in here. It's supposed to be all about TMac. And that includes you guys that are TMac lovers that keep bringing him up too.

Now, on to the subject. There is no questioning TMac's amazing talent. He is a superstar. His back hurts from carrying that team so much. But I honestly feel that he doesn't have that drive and work ethic to make him that much better. I think it runs in the family. It just so happens that TMac is more talented than VC. And it wasn't just Doc pointing it out that TMac doesn't work that hard sometimes, his teammates have said so also. Even tho those untalented bums just jump on him and hope he does everything for him. In any case, great talent, but not the best. IMO.

I feel T-Mac would have been better off, if he'd had someone take him under their wing, but he didn't. That's why I called him a self amde superstar. He worked himself to the level he's at. He may not really realize yet the true potential he has, but he probably needs someone better than Doc Rivers, (who by the way was a great hustle player in his day) to help him get there. I jus tdon't think he can challenge and bring the greatest out of T_Mac
