I dont wanna get into that argument, but I just wanna say this.

Michael Jordan is the best player ever. I dont think there is any denying that.

But, before him, there was others considered the best ever. Then, Jordan came along and he took that name. It's just nature, and nature says that eventually there HAS to be someone better than Michael Jordan someday.

It could be a current NBA player.
It Could be a college player.
It Could be a High School player.
It Could be someone playing pee wee basketball at his local park.
It could be a baby crawling around.
It could be someone that isnt even a thought yet.

wow, this guy is capable of logical thinking. I've been saying the same thing all along, and i was practically stoned for it in an 18 page thread.

now, as a supposedly sensible person you asked why kobe bryant didnt run out the clock when he has 38 points in a game, amidst 7 str8 40 point scoring games. Either you just had a lapse in judgement or your idea of common sense is warped lol

Exactly.. why does Kobe need to break MJ's record? what is he trying to proove? that he's better than Jordan?.

he has the chance to break the record so why not go for it? wouldnt you? Apart from being a hell of an accomplishment it would defineatly be a great confidence booster going into the playoffs

hopefully the streak h's on gets them in a nice spot in the playoffs then i hope its a booster for both him and his teammates. We all realise now that if kobe doesnt go for 40 the lakers lose.

I don't want to get in between this, but the Lakers got this much needed win. WIth the Rockets losing earlier, the Lakers are 8th and are headed to advance in the seedings. The Blazers are playing good right now and it's good to see the Lakers do well against them.
