haha everyone keeps talking about their D, but if you look at the stats THIS YEAR, you will see that mavs are better than most. Everyone needs to stop living in the past. Ie. Laker fans with their talk of winning a ring (although i know they can, its not going to be as easy as they expect), the kings fans and their talk of running layup drills....cmon guys... its a whole new ballgame...

Did you see the Kings and Mavs in Sacramento this year? It was lat years playoffs all over again. You're right it is a new year but the same old crap defense. You can talk all about the stats they put up, but when push comes to shove they can't beat the big boys. Uhoh, I just remembered something. Didn't the Kings beat the Mavs in Dallas without Webber, Jackson or Pollard. Good Lord man, three of their top guys out and the Kings still win. The Kings also shot better than 50% in both of those games, uh that's not what I call very good defense. So yes, I will keep talking about layup drills because that is what will happen when they meet. With all the injuries the Kings have had the Mavs should be leading the conference, but when the real season starts and the all the bullets are in the gun, the Mavs will go home early. The only team that can beat the Lakers is the Kings, and the only team that can beat the Kings is the Lakers.

yes, the mavs got beat, even when the kings did not have webber, pollard, jackson, but injuries is not an excuse. besides the kings have sooo many weapons that it doesnt matter...the mavs didnt have najera either who is a crucial part of the dallas defense and brings the energy and hustle that the mavs lacked. or when van exel was injured it was just like when jackson was injured and both teams still played well. we will see again theyre playin soon . this thurs right?... we will see then...

123-94 is not getting beat it is getting stomped. Oh yes, Webber is to Najera as a Ferrari is to a Pacer. To compare the absence of those guys to their teams as being equal is a joke. Now if Dirk was out, OK, I'll buy it. You're reaching dude, and you know deep down that the Mavs don't stand a chance against a healthy Kings team.

ok man, since we're tallkin bout the past, i guess i should bring up last year. You know, when the mavs beat the kings 3 out of 4 times in the REGULAR SEASON. regular season is fun, but as we all know playoffs is it and neither the mavs nor the kings won a title yet. thursdays game will be a good one, mavs may win or lose, but dont think just because the kings win that they own or will stomp on the mavs in the playoffs...La is the team to beat and both the mavs and the kings have that chance...

The Kings will stomp on the Mavs in the playoffs. What does that sign say in the Mavs gym? 125 layups and dunks in the 5 game series. Set up those layup lines boys the Kings are coming to town.
