WILL (SHOULD) JORDAN'S 23 JERSEY BE RETIRED AS A WIZARD?....

LET THE DEBATING BEGIN!!! this is a tough one. he's only been around the Wizards for two seasons and played well below his HOF status.....
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

I think they will, just because of who he used to be.
Fun Fact: Every Tom Izzo recruiting class has played in a Final Four.

I would not be suprised to see the entire NBA retire the #23 when Jordan retires for good

Like they were trying to do with #99 in hockey!

He will always be remembered for what he did in #23 as a Bull, not as a Wizard. So unless they do what Injun says, the Wiz should NOT retire his jersey.

Based on his Wiz years, if they retire his jersey they might as well hang Juwan Howard and Christian Laettner's right along side of it!!

On the flip side...he is the owner. He can do whatever he wants!

It probally will. The NBA's funny like that. Didn't they retire Pistol Pete's Jersey in New Orleans. As we all know The Pistol never played a day in a Hornets uniform but he played some real good games as a member of the New Orleans Jazz.

I don't think they should, nor should they retire #23 from the entire NBA. There are people that love that number and want to use that number just because of him. And if they got the skillz to match, let them use it.

I don't think they should retire #23 in DC because he hasn't really done anything for that team. It has given them hope and that desire to win, but they haven't really won that much. They've improved a lot, but still. I think it also stunts the growth of their young players to have him on there. He doesn't give them enough PT, and I'm sure they're all scared as hell to mess up. I would be too, if I played with the great one.
