If Tony Parker is 100%, well the Western Conference championship still goes through San Antonio. "Too old," isn't that the same b.s. excuse from last season? And, haven't you doubter and non-believers been Manu and Timmy's play the last two weeks?

As good as the top 5 teams are (Spurs. Lakers, Suns and Hornets) they've all got questions to answer, but the Spurs have championship experience to lean on.

The Lakers don't have championship experience to lean on?

          No they dont.

Besides Kobe and Fisher, who has the experience? Unless I am totally wrong but does gasol, bynum, odom, vujacic radmanovic, etc. have rings?

But seriously, correct me if I am wrong. I honestly dont know what other teams they may have won rings with.

We got Horry who has like 7 rings alone. Then Timmy with 4, Tony and Manu with 3. There is no one else who has won that many in recent times.

The entire coaching staff counts for something. But anyway who cares what anyone really thinks right now, fact is there's 10 teams alone in the West who seem pretty damn geared up to make a run at a title.

"Championship experience" is a load of crock imo.

Surprised to see the results - LA is way overhyped.

There are many many teams to beat.

                  and I voted for Lakers

I'm not, bandwagoning is a major theme on this board. As it's been said, to be the man you gotta beat the man. The Spurs are that "man" right now and until someone puts them out you really can't call it, whether it be East or West.

Tomorrow will be an interesting matchup between the Hornets and the Suns. It would be amazing if the Hornets sweep the Suns 4-0 for the regular season.

The Suns need to step it up, this trade is looking worse and worse. They need to look more comfortable with their new big man. Amare seems to be loving the 4 though, he's been on fire as of late.

That home game against the Pistons was damn pathetic.

Lakers in first now, lets see if they hold it up. I think they will.

Bump: The Rockets have surprisingly climbed their way to the #3 seed in the West.

Also: Good game between the Spurs and the Suns right now.

Interesting. If the Hornets lose to the Pistons on Sunday (which I hope happens) then winner the Rox-Laker game will be on top of the Wild West.

This thread has been up a long time.

I finally voted, for the best team in the West right now!

Congrats to a team that were slated to miss the playoffs with their best player down!
