Re: ***Official countdown to the trade deadline thread***
I think one key factor that pretty much everyone is overlooking in the trade is Joe Smith. The man puts up the same numbers as Gooden and the guy has to be smarter.
For those of you are happy that you got Gooden...just wait until you watch him play consistantly. He doesn't pass the ball and thinks he is AI with the moves he tries. He also has less brains than a rock. I'm literally shocked we got this much for what we gave up.Too Old To Game Club

The Pistons have aquired Juan Dixon from the Raptors for Primoz Brezec.
Didn't know if anyone posted that yet.

So wait, did the Nuggets do anything or not? I can't find anything definitive... I know the Artest deal probably didn't go through, but I thought they were working some others that might still have had a chance...Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: ***Official countdown to the trade deadline thread***
Okay, well I guess the Nuggets just did the Von Wafer for Taurean Green deal and that was it. Works for me -- maybe the kid will get playing time, maybe not -- Von certainly wasn't. And maybe Green will turn into something good for us down the road (if we keep him). I don't know much about the kid admittedly -- can he hit the 3? That's all we need haha..Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

And I doubt the Sonics use any of the money they saved to re-vamp next year. They may start some rebuilding draft wise but not in free-agency. I bet they wait until they are settled in Oklahoma City to start hitting the free agent market.Comment

Re: ***Official countdown to the trade deadline thread***
I actually don't mind the acquisition of Drew Gooden. He is a proven hustler and, although not known for his defense, should be better on the offensive boards compared to Wallace (better FT shooter too). Hughes is questionable to me, although we did actually reduce finances here since Hughes contract isn't as big as Wallace's. I do have an issue with what Hughes inclusion is going to mean for Sefolosha, since he was playing very well and was a good fit at the SG spot. Looks like we will either play Noah predominantly at the C spot for the remainder of the season, or we'll have a small lineup (like we haven't already) for the remainder. I dunno, it looks like we're going to have a very crowded two guard situation which is troubling.Comment
