You think Paul and Kidd were playing 1 on 1?

If you watched the game, Kidd wasnt even guarding him half the time. Anyway, Paul is the MVP of the season so far imo, and he played like it tonight. He was in the zone. I doubt anyone in the league would have shut down CP3 tonight.

Yeah not much has changed except they got rid of there one guard who was quick, lol great trade. at least Shaq looked good, even after a month off.

I think it's going to take Dallas a little longer to get the full benefit of Kidd, because as starting PG, his role is just too big. Also, he just got into the city. This trade was finalized practically before tip off. You have Kidd playing essentially a pick up style game against the best record in the Western conference. The only concern for Dallas is losing too much ground while they get used to the new lineup, because the other teams are playing well again already.

This was a bad game for Kidd to make his redebut. The Hornets are playing lights out and CP3 is no joke... he and D Will are taking over, and by next year the NBA will have a new pair of best PGs in the L. I wont give it to them yet but they are hard to guard for anybody in the NBA. He killed the Mavs earlier this season and he just finished getting with Nash before the All Star break. People just dont know how good Paul is.

Let me help you out here, chief . . .

Kidd was the man covering Paul about 60% of the time. And as I said previously, people were going to come on after Kidd played slightly below average in his first game back and just laugh. That's fine.

It's like getting a new car, people. It's going to take a little bit of time driving the car before you fully realize what it's capable of. Consider last night the test run. Of course, that's how good and under-rated New Orleans is as well -- the Kidd bashers aren't even pointing to the fact that it was against the best team in the West.

The thing that I am most encouraged about for the last 5 or so games is how aggressive Dirk has been. He finally is in the post and getting the ball in the paint the few times he does post up. Thats what irritated me the most about Devin was the fact he wouldn't/couldn't make the pass that we needed When Dirk would post up. Thats why Dirk spent so much time on the elbow taking his guy one on one. More than a few times last night he was on the block and didn't have to call for the ball, it was there, and not just from kidd. That move that drew the fourth foul on west is what we need from Dirk. This trade is all about maximizing Dirk. Dirk said it best when he said now I can go back to being the scorer instead of the playmaker.
