Paxson's biggest flaw is his inability to make a decision.

    Deng is not THAT good.

This bunch of players are now over-riped.

No one is trying to trade with the Bulls now, but a year ago, eight months ago it was a different story. Their value has dropped significantly.

That's why I questioned you on your statement on the Bulls willing to go over the cap to win. They won't even trade Deng to win. Why would they even bother to go over the cap? Much less, pay the luxury tax to win.

I know. Why in the hell didnt Houston draft Rudy Gay? Instead, they trade for Battier? I dont understand that at all.

They probably misjudged how good Gay was gonna become. Also, he wasn't entirely a project, but he was nowhere near ready to play in his rookie year; they were probably thinking that Battier would be more useful in the immediate present. Certainly a shortsighted trade.

JVG didn't like him, and still doesn't like him.

Morey was just on SportsRadio 610. When talking about the Green trade, he said that they like how young Green is and how much of a hardworker he is. They don't expect him to get on the floor much at all, but will have a great firsthand look when it comes to deciding on resigning him this offseason.

He said the point of this trade was the cap flexibility it gave them on signing veterans that are available or will become available in the next few weeks. We are not finished making moves for the season.
Allrighty then. Taken from a poster on RealGM.

Good to see Gerald Green come back home to Houston, hopefully he works his way to the rotation, he was buried in Minnesota with Gomes, and Brewer.

That's the thing. He is not nearly as good as Gomes and Brewer is developing.

I don't know what Green can possibly bring to the table without minutes. The kid has been a disappointment from what I have seen.

Dude Houston's GM is spinning. Green couldn't even crack Minny's rotation for garbage time. This is the same thing that happened with Mike James.
